Siena Small group Cooking Class in a Chianti Farm

Chef Simone was a wonderful host and teacher, he put us all at ease with his kindness and good humour. We made delicious ravioli and tiramisu from scratch and feel confident thanks to his tips and guidance that we could make it again when we return home. This was a real highlight of our trip and we would highly recommend. The farm is in a gorgeous location, so eating our handiwork later was also a treat.

It was nice. It was a small farm. We were showed how to make tiramisu and pasta… Actually, we did spinach fill ravioli. The instructor was knowledgeable and interesting. He made it enjoyable. It was a perfect length of time.

This ended up being one of our favorite memories from our trip. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, authentic, and family-friendly cooking class in Italy.

we booked this super last minute but so glad that we did! it has been our favourite experience of our entire europe trip. our host was so warm, friendly, and supportive with a fantastic personality! we really enjoyed learning about his background as a chef, especially his time in perth, australia. he quickly built rapport with all of the guests and continued to support them throughout the pasta making class. would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting an intimate but non-overwhelming cooking experience. our only wish was that he joined us for the meal so we could speak to him some more and learn more about his experience as a chef! :)

This was such an authentic experience with Simone, who was so excited and patient, teaching the finer details on cooking, ingredients, and of course the vineyard his family lives on. We made delicious raviolis and tiramisu from scratch, using high-quality local ingredients, with Simone having everything setup for our group for each stage, generous with wine, and ultimately a beautiful family style meal. From the minute I stepped out of the car to the moment I tasted the delectable foods we learned to make, I thought I was in a fairy tale. The setting for this intimate cooking class was simply enchanting. The old Tuscan farmhouse is set in the rolling hills amongst vineyards. As the sun set, we clinked sparkling Prosecco and began our lesson expertly led by Simone our chef. His class was educational, relaxed and fun. The fresh pasta topped with homemade mushroom sauce was magical. What could top that? Pizza made in an authentic wood burning fireplace. As I reluctantly climbed back in the car, I may have shut the door to that magical place, but the memories will forever stay with me. Thank you Simone. I highly recommend this fantastic place to anyone who wants to transport themselves to a magical place.

Simone was excellent! He was such a fun instructor and the food that we made was delicious! Our ravioli were superb and the tiramisu was to die for! And the wine was absolutely delicious! We also had a great time in his kitchen and the grounds were so beautiful. It was a spectacular day and we can't thank you enough!
