Siena: Chianti Sunset Tour with Dinner & Wine Tasting

Description
There are many ways to spend an evening in Tuscany, but few allow you to experience it from the inside. Just a few minutes from Siena, between Chianti and the Crete Senesi, this experience takes you through vineyards, cellars, and history, guided directly by the people who produce the wine every day. What makes it special is the combination of a visit to a family-run winery, a tasting of our wines, and a traditional Tuscan dinner served at sunset on a panoramic terrace overlooking two of the most fascinating landscapes in the Siena area. It is not just a wine tasting or a dinner, but an authentic experience where wine, territory, tradition, and hospitality come together in a relaxed and genuine atmosphere.

Itinerary
VINEYARDS AND OLIVE GROVES OF SAN GIORGIO A LAPI The visit begins with a walk through vineyards and olive groves in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, in a unique location between Chianti Classico and Chianti Colli Senesi. Along the way, you will discover the history of our family-run winery, the characteristics of the territory, and the work we carry out every day to cultivate quality grapes and olives. An authentic first encounter with the landscape that gives life to our wines.
CHURCH OF SAN GIORGIO A LAPI Nestled among vineyards and olive groves, the Church of San Giorgio a Lapi dates back to the 11th century and preserves valuable frescoes from the Nasini school. A place rich in history, art, and charm that tells the most authentic roots of the territory between Chianti and the Crete Senesi.
WINEMAKING AND AGING CELLARS The tour continues through the winemaking and aging cellars, where you will discover every stage of wine production, from the harvest to the aging process. Through the story of our family, you will learn about the production techniques, the philosophy behind our work, and the journey that transforms grapes into wine.
PANORAMIC TERRACE OF SAN GIORGIO A LAPI The experience concludes on the panoramic terrace overlooking the hills of Chianti and the Crete Senesi. As the sun sets over the Tuscan countryside, you will enjoy our wines accompanied by a traditional Tuscan dinner prepared with local ingredients. A moment to be enjoyed at a relaxed pace, surrounded by the colors of sunset, the aromas of the land, and the authentic atmosphere of Tuscany.

This experience was a highlight of our trip to Siena. Helene hosted our vineyard tour and chef-prepared, delicious 4 course dinner with generous paired wine tastings in excellent English, making the experience easy and very relaxed. The vineyard was easy to find and such a stunning and picturesque location, we felt we got great value for money and highly recommend.
Exceptional experience! The food, the guide, and especially the wine were excellent!! This beautiful winery is family operated and in a lovely setting just a short drive from Siena.
This was a very authentic Italian family run winery generations deep. The wine and the lunch were first class. Our hosts were knowledgeable and engaging and very helpful. Well worth the investment.
We had a wonderful experience. Our guide Maya was knowledgeable and showed us around and taught us about the wine making. The food was delicious and went well with the wines we got to try. Would like to give them six stars!
Lovely family winery. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating staff. Amazing they produce over 100,000 bottles a year. Hope I got that right. Only 20 minutes from Siena. Their bottle labels designed by an artist are works of art. If you are in the area recommend visiting this charming winery.
Fantastic guided tour with the guide Maia. Both informative and with funny anecdotes. Great lunch with their local wines.
Fantastic guidance, food and wine!
Beautiful day with a very nice and informative tour guide. The food and wine was perfect. I believe we were very fortunate because we were the only two people there that day and they still gave us the tour with the tastings. I would definitely return at some point when I make it back to Siena.
Wonderful tour guide, beautiful day, lovely meal and very good wine. There was a mixup with our reservation and yet they were gracious and accommodating. The description and wine tasting exceeded expectation. My favorite part of the meal was the dessert biscotti with a dipping crème and my sister loved the dessert wine.
Wonderful day in the Tuscan Hillside… Great tour of the winery and a delicious lunch… Jesse our guide was fantastic
