It was an amazing day. It was just myself and another couple and our driver. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the penguins. We got to the penguin reserve long before the buses from the cruise ship so we had plenty of time to walk around without lots of people. All in all, I could not have asked for a better day!

It was well worth the nearly 2 1/2 hour ride from Puerto Madryn to the Punta Tomba Reserve. There weren't quite as many penguins as we expected, but they were still plentiful and it was very rewarding experience getting up close and personal with them. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and provided a great experience.
