Jökulsárlón – Glacier Lagoon is a stunning natural wonder created by the Vatnajökull, Europe’s largest glacier. The calm lagoon shines with floating icebergs that move gently against tall mountain views. Visitors are amazed by the bright blue ice and the peaceful feeling of the wild nature around them. Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon shows the pure beauty of Iceland’s icy landscapes. The view is always changing, with amazing colors and light, especially at sunrise and sunset.
Diamond Beach is a wonderful natural place on Iceland’s southeast coast. This beautiful beach is famous for its black sand and shiny ice chunks from the nearby glacier, which look like diamonds on the shore. Visitors enjoy the magical mix of dark sand and clear ice as the ice slowly melts into the Atlantic Ocean. The changing light on the ice makes the view spectacular and gives photographers and nature lovers a perfect opportunity to capture stunning pictures.

Fjallsárlón – Glacier Lagoon is a peaceful and beautiful spot on Iceland’s southeast coast. Fjallsárlón is smaller than Jökulsárlón , is quieter, and has the best and closest views of the glacier. Fjallsárlón comes from Fjallsjökull glacier with the closest ice walls and tall mountains nearby. Fjallsárlón feels more personal with easy boat trips near the ice. This amazing place is known for its calm waters filled with small floating icebergs from the nearby Fjallsjökull glacier. Visitors can enjoy the quiet view of blue and white ice against tall mountains and feel close to nature.

We were very lucky to have a nice day. We could see the glaciers and diamond beach. The guide provided us with a lot of information, along with an audio that we found very helpful. The driver was very friendly and his English is enough to speak with us.
This experience went above and beyond our expectations. Seeing the sights of Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach are a must see while in this area. The drive along the was was so spectacular as well.
Thank you Erica so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that the tour exceeded your expectations. Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach are truly some of Iceland's most breathtaking natural wonders, and we're so happy you enjoyed experiencing them. We also agree—the drive along the South Coast is spectacular, with incredible scenery around every corner. It was a pleasure to have you on our tour, and we hope to welcome you back to Iceland for another adventure in the future!
We enjoyed the tour. We got to see the glacier lagoon, diamond beach, an Icelandic village and several viewpoints. I wasn't sure if the tour was offered just by the guide or whether it was a formal company since it was a 4 seater private car. She had a separate driver and they were both very friendly. Most of the educational part was from a recorded message playing on the radio. We also saw a few herds of reindeer and lots of sheep goats and Icelandic horses. The only frustration is they don't provide any food except for some Icelandic chocolates. For a 7 hour your that was a bit frustrating. We could have purchased food at the glacier lagoon but that was barely 2.5hrs in to the tour and we weren't super hungry yet. And it was nearly $400pp!
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed visiting the Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach, the Icelandic village, the scenic viewpoints, and that you were able to see reindeer, Icelandic horses, sheep, and goats along the way. We're also glad you found our guide and driver friendly and welcoming. Regarding the food, we completely understand your perspective. We make it clear in our tour description that meals are not included. We made this decision after previously offering food, as we found it was very difficult to accommodate everyone's dietary preferences and expectations. We frequently received complaints about the meal options, including requests for vegan alternatives or comments that guests didn't enjoy the food provided. To avoid these issues and give our guests the freedom to choose what they prefer, we now leave meal purchases up to each traveler. We truly appreciate your feedback, and we'll certainly consider whether adding another food stop later in the tour could improve the experience for future guests. Thank you again for choosing our tour, and we hope to welcome you back to Iceland in the future.
The destinations were great and as advertised. However the tour left much to be desired. We were crammed into a small car (2 couples unknown to each other). Other passengers were large and the whole trip was very uncomfortable. There was no WiFi. The driver was Spanish- and knew very little English. He played a recording of Iceland but could not answer any questions. The company did have a minivan but used it for others on a shorter trip. Would only book this if the trip is in the minivan and the driver can speak English and knows about Iceland.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the destinations, but we’re sorry to hear that you found the seating uncomfortable. The vehicle used for your tour was a large 4WD with 7 seats. At the start of the trip, we offered to open the two extra seats in the very back to provide more space, but the group declined this option. Our driver suggested that the largest passenger take the roomiest seat in the front, and that his wife, being petite, could move to the back next to you, so everyone would have more space. However, she preferred to remain in the front seat, which unfortunately made the ride less comfortable for others. The recorded commentary you heard was made especially for our tours and contains unique local stories and history that are not available online. While the driver’s first language is Spanish, he is able to provide safe driving, good hospitality, and access to the same quality information for all guests. We appreciate your comments and will continue working to improve both comfort and communication for future travelers.
The tour was very well organised, with timely pick up at the harbour. Comfortable minivan with excellent driver, convenient comfort breaks and well taken care of when we reached the lagoon and diamond beach. Would recommend
