Very bad experience. The tour guide never arrived at the meeting point, and I had to pay for additional tickets to participate in the activity, and they also did not refund what I paid.
The meeting place Viator gave us was incorrect. We had to ask at the entrance to the stadium and they helped us find our tour guide. By then we were 15 minutes late for a 45 minute tour.
Dear client, The meeting point is written and very easy to get to the unique bullring on the city. The guide was outside with the brand of Sevilla Única. Kinds Regards,
Fascinating location. Incredibly interesting history. However, we would have loved to have learned more about the building (when was it built and why) and what were the items in the museum. Our guide gave us a great introduction to the breed of the fighting bull but, we would have benefited from learning some basics about bullfighting and who does it.
Interesting place and museum , we visited during day and the museum was very informative, chose to sit in the shade in the ring and watch the workmen prepare the ring for that evenings entertainment. Was surprised how close to the ring all seats were even though I think holds 12,000 We wouldn’t attend when bull fighting on but was interesting visit
We were initially unsure about visiting the Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla given the controversy surrounding bullfighting, but the guided tour offered valuable context that changed our perspective. We learned about its origins, including how early practices were tied to feeding the poor, and how it has evolved into a highly ritualized art form centered on the matador’s skill and performance. Because it’s still a functioning bullring, we were also able to get tickets to an evening show. Seeing the event firsthand was certainly an interesting and eye-opening experience, and one we’re glad we had—it’s now something we can check off our bucket list. While still culturally and politically suggest complex, the experience gave us a deeper understanding of this important part of Spanish culture. Overall, it was worth it for the historical and cultural insight.
Dear client, Thank you very much. Kinds Regards
The tour mainly consisted of a walk around the museum and a quick visit to the bullring. As there was a bullfight later we could not of access elsewhere. Although the guide gave a comprehensive history of bullfighting it was challenging to understand her at times so missed much of the detail.
The tour was mostly of a museum and was slow and boring. Only the last 10 mins was the chapel, arena & a “look” to the bull ring. I was under the wrong impression we would be escorted to the center of the ring. Not the case. The tour guide was polite and knowledgeable but this is for folks without kids who want to know the deep history of bull fighting.
Thank you for your booking. If you read the part:”What you expect” We explain that the tour is about the history and the evolution of the tauromaquia,as official guides we tall about history in all out tours. We don’t know when it’s possible to be in the middel during Corridas de toros season, out of season we see the seats from the middle of the arena. Kinds Regards,
Although I'm against bullfighting, visiting Seville Plaza de Toros was a wonderful experience. It's a place steeped in history, with beautiful paintings and matador costumes, as well as several stuffed bull heads hanging on the walls. Don't forget to bring your passport; those over 65 pay a reduced ticket.
Most of the tour takes place in the museum area, with displays of paintings and artifacts. Our tour leader was a bullfighting enthusiast.
Despite checking the meeting location with google maps, local staff and the Viator team the guide didn't turn up and couldn't be contacted by ourselves or Viator. Beware, our first bad experience using Viator, although the Viator team were responsive and helpful as far as they could
Dear client, As we explained you at the moment we knew about your booking,we hadn’t got your booking in our system so we didn’t know you were there. The sales were closed,we didn’t know you booked it. We replied you at the moment we were noticed, giving you back the money at the moment. We sorry for the inconveniences. Kinds Regards,
