Itinerary
The Noosa River system is unique as its entire upper catchment is protected in National Park. Throughout your cruise take the opportunity to observe and photograph the unique beauty of an everglades eco system. While viewing wildlife is never guaranteed on tour, many guests have spotted a variety of bird species and several kangaroos and goannas upon returning to Habitat. “Discover an unspoiled part of Noosa - Australia’s Everglades. Pristine water full of life. Our Guide kept us consumed with the beauty of the place and the knowledge he shared was fantastic. I recommend this great half day tour to everyone!” At the end of the tour, maybe go for a walk around Habitat Noosa and maybe even spot a few of our local kangaroos before concluding a great afternoon in Australia's only Everglades.

The scenery and contact with nature was an excellent experience . However this was not a cheap exercise. We went with our family 7 adults and 4 kids and it cost near $1000. The commentary was hard to hear and as an nature lover I really didn’t learn a whole lot more about the environment than I knew. We were fortunate to see some beautiful birds and a koala and a sea eagle. That was a treat
The team were very knowledgable of The Everglades and made extra effort to ensure everyone saw animals and take pictures on the way through. A lot of good spotting of koalas, goannas and kingfishers. We enjoyed a Prosecco, local beer and company on this trip and highly recommend people visit here when in the local area (we travelled from Noosa). When you do go, after the tour sit down and have a nice dinner watching the sun set (in June).
The experience is very good, relaxing couple of hours out on the water. The skipper is very knowledgeable and thought us a lot about the Everglades.
Super amazing experience, nice shift between boot and walk.
Thank you for your review. We hope to see you again, soon.
We were super lucky with the weather so it was beautiful all day. I was worried it might feel like a long boat ride but we found it to be perfect - the shuttle bus was extremely efficient and the staff on the cruise itself had contagious enthusiasm. Would definitely recommend!
Thank you for your fantastic review! We're so pleased the weather turned on for you—it really does make the Everglades even more spectacular. It's wonderful to hear the tour felt just the right length and that any concerns about a long boat ride disappeared once you were out on the water. We're also delighted our shuttle service made the day easy and that our crew's enthusiasm helped make your experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for your recommendation. We hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable day on the Everglades soon! 🌿🚤☀️
Personally I would have liked the tour to have been split in some form so that overseas visitors enjoyed the time to search for wildlife I know what koala look like and was a bit disappointed with not finding much - maybe it was the time of year However the tour guide was informative and the serenity appreciated. More information to take warmer clothes would have helped and maybe an he earlier start might avoid getting back in the dark
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed the serenity of the Everglades and found your guide informative. Wildlife sightings can vary with the season, weather and the animals' natural behaviour, so it does vary day to day. We understand it can be disappointing if you were hoping to see more. Thank you also for your practical feedback about recommending warmer clothing and the tour timing. We'll certainly take this on board as we continue to improve the experience for our guests. We hope we'll have the opportunity to welcome you back soon🌿🦅
Was okay but there is not enough to see to warrant a 3 hour boot cruise. An hour on the boat would be more than enough.
Thanks for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear the tour wasn't quite what you were hoping for. Our cruise is designed to be a slow, immersive experience through one of only two Everglade systems in the world with an opportunity to enjoy the tranquillity, learn about this unique ecosystem, and experience the wildlife and landscapes at a relaxed pace (whilst enjoying a glass of bubbles, beer or juice). It takes an hour to journey to the best parts of the Everglades (the Narrows) where we turn around. With the addition of a convenience stop and rainforest walk the tour duration is 2.5hrs, so unfortunately couldn't be achievable in 1 hour. Thank you again for visiting and for taking the time to leave a review. We wish you all the best on your future travels. 🌿🚤
Beautiful tour through nature, where everything was well arranged.
Thank you for your review. We are delighted you found the tour well organised and the landscapes beautiful.
This tour was very enjoyable. It was great that there was a choice of activity and we chose the boat cruise and short walk. The crew were very friendly and helpful.
Thank you for your review! We're so pleased you had an enjoyable day with us. It's great to hear you appreciated having a choice of activities and that you enjoyed the combination of the cruise and short walk. We'll be sure to pass your kind words on to our crew—they'll be delighted to know their friendly and helpful service made your experience even more enjoyable. We hope to welcome you back to the Noosa Everglades for another adventure soon! 🌿
The tour turned up very little wildlife and some of that would have been due to the noise and intoxication on the vessel. For a serenity tour it was anything, but I would suggest going on the earlier tour where alcohol is not served.
