Live an extraordinary experience contemplating so closely so many wild animals in their material environment. The spectacular sunset. We were fortunate enough to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes up close. Elephants, wildebeest, hyenas, monkeys etc. are worth living this experience.
To finish the safari, we spent 3 nights in the serengeti. Races with gazelles that position themselves on the track... Hot air balloon flight at sunrise: magical, messy giraffes on the way to the serengeti. Be careful, people with back pain should avoid this rather long and very poor quality journey! We had planned the plane back and we were very happy with our choice! Very nice park too. Inn in the park amidst lionesses and buffaloes... it's impressive! Fortunately the Masai are watching.
The visit to Serengeti Park in August is only of interest for the opportunity to see many lions but the landscapes are extremely tiresome and dust and tourists are everywhere. At this time most of the large animals left for Kenya and there is not much left to see. Only a few animals remain in the middle of the park and the road seems very long on the dusty tracks of the arid or burned plain.
Serengeti means "Endless Plain" and indeed, in the plain among the thousands of wildebeest and zebras (and some cheetahs), it seems infinite. On the forest side, we could also observe leopards (3 times, resting in a tree), lions, giraffes, zebras, hippos. 2 nights also in a mobile camp inside the park: not to be missed.
Thanks very much kaka, for all the great reviews. Your very welcome to explore Tanzania next time. Please your now our ambassadors to Tanzania.
Fabulous! We spent 2 full days in the north and center and 2 days around Lake Nauru. North and center: animals everywhere, all kinds of antelope, elephants and giraffes in large numbers, lions, cheetahs, leopards and birds..... The Lake Nauru region is penalized by a lack of water, therefore grass and therefore antelope and large carnivores. But if we could not find the lions, cheetahs and leopards were there to watch their prey. Very few tourists, for us a real treat. Fabulous!
Thanks very much for your support. You are our ambassador in the future coming. Merry Christmas and prosperous new year.
Everything has been said about Serengeti Nal. Park. Impossible to add anything new! The place is the archetype symbol of all life on earth. If Africa is the cradle of the humankind, Serengeti is its open theater. Now that I have been there, I can comfortably declare: if there is only one place on Earth to be seen by everyone, this is Serengeti. Whatever you have seen on NatGeo Wild or Discovery channels, it is only a shadow of you will see in Serengeti: live, right in front of your own eyes, a defilé of aeons that never stops. We, humans, need to be happy that this place still exists.
the Serengeti is really a great place , a real prize for mankind
