Itinerary
Start your walk at Piazza Tasso in Sorrento. Just open the app nearby to begin exploring this bustling square where Renaissance poetry meets modern espresso, all built atop the invisible bones of Roman villas.
Peer over the railing into a verdant abyss where 13th-century industry has been politely, yet firmly, swallowed by a post-apocalyptic jungle of ferns and silence.
Admire the restrained facade of this thousand-year-old survivor, which hides a ceiling so heavily gilded it makes the Mediterranean sun look like a dim bulb.
Pause at this 15th-century open-air clubhouse where local aristocrats debated taxes and trade under frescoes that served as a medieval "Who’s Who" of noble power.
Stand before the spiritual anchor of the city, a church so dedicated to maritime safety that it keeps a literal whale bone as a receipt for a legendary divine rescue.
Glimpse the serene arches of this 14th-century retreat, where the mismatched columns are actually repurposed Roman "hand-me-downs" used to create a masterclass in architectural recycling.
Take in the panoramic drama of Mount Vesuvius from this cliffside terrace, where a marble monument stands as a somber reminder that even in paradise, history leaves a mark.
Wrap up your tour at Marina Grande. Take a moment to enjoy the view of the bobbing fishing boats and the scent of lemons before ending your tour in the harbor where Sorrento’s soul truly weighs its anchor.

It is a really very relaxed way to get to know a place. The paths from one attraction to the next are relatively short and are doable for everyone. The only drawback is that you cannot see the screen very well in the sunshine and therefore cannot read it very well, but we managed it. Thank you very much for this idea.

Very well-done self-guided tour. Hit all of the major interest spots, audio was very clear and informative, and linked to Google Maps for easy navigation.
Thank you for your review. We are glad the Sorrento tour covered the main sights and that the audio and the map links made it easy to follow.
Poorly designed, no directions between stages despite requesting location sharing in app. Very disappointed

Great value for the price. Saw things I would have otherwise missed. It also interfaced with Google maps which was very helpful.
