What a ride!! My wife and kids said it was the coolest thing they have EVER done. The round trip on the bike was 38 miles. There is the option to train back from Pisa., but we opted to ride round trip. Staff was helpful with app and bike setup. It took my family of 4 (14 and 11 year old) about 2 hours from Lucca to Pisa and 1.5 hours to get back. Great scenery through Tuscany countryside. Recommend bringing a battery pack and sunscreen.
Staff contacted and accommodated a booking change which was really kind and helpful. Office easy to locate near the train station and the bikes were well maintained and easy to operate. Staff helpful in providing a map app. The ride was easy and we went through beautiful countryside.
Beautiful cycle ride. Staff at location super nice and helpful. Helped with a last minute booking change due to a cancelled flight. Love seeing a place by bike.
Lots of riding, but the e-bike makes it easy. We enjoyed a beautiful bike ride from Lucca to Pisa and back via two different routes. The app provided all the directions needed to make it on your own. I recommend.
This was one of the funnest things I did on my two week vacation. Go at your own pace, take pictures of the country side. The leaning tower is a must see in person.
Biked to and from Pisa. Enjoyed the trails and going through countryside. For the most part the directions were ok. There were a few times we got turned around. It would have been helpful if the app would have recalculated and told us how to get back on the right track. Instead it took a few trial and errors. Be sure to bring an extra battery pack. The ride took 2.5 hours on the way to Pisa with a couple of brief stops for pictures. The way back took less than two hours nonstop. It was approximately 60km.
Very nice tour, after 15 minutes you are out of town. On good bike paths we went through nature. Partly through villages and asphalt roads. In Pisa there are also bike paths. Back on the same path. One was perfectly committed. Grazie millie!
Was worth the ride across to Pisa and an easier ride back. Both equally worth the scenery. Remember. Bring a phone charger pack. And if you want to experience the Pisa Climb. Buy your tickets ahead of time.
First time using E-Bikes and was easy to learn and use. Size limit to use is 5' 1". My son is that size and could easily manage it. Route to Pisa is mostly flat trails and backroads with a few short stretches of busier roads. Very beautiful ride. Ride back was mostly roads, some busy. That was slightly disappointing. Definitely recommend wearing bike helmets which are offered at no extra charge but not required. There is option to take a train back to Lucca from Pisa. This is extra and on your own dime. If planning on biking there and back, recommend the earlier pick-up bike time at 9:30AM in order to have enough time in Pisa. The bikes include locks. We locked our bikes in Pisa and then walked in Pisa and ate lunch and checked out the Leaning Tower of Pisa. After returning to Lucca, we biked around the top of the walls of the city before returning our bikes. Overall great experience, great value.
We were a group of 4 ladies in our 50s and 60s. Gianluca welcomed us with a great sense of humor. He had our bikes ready to go and even opened a little early for us. The bikes were easy to use and the countryside was beautiful. It took us 4 hours with stops for pictures. We did have to race to find the drop off, so make sure you know to go to the station to drop off your bikes first before the tower. We took the train back to Lucca. Highly recommend!
