The windows of the barge are not very clean: not great for photos. No snack biscuits when one orders a drink (considering the price of the appetizer). The site indicates more than 3 hours of navigation, while it is just over 2 hours.
Arrived early and the registrar showed us some of the hotel rooms on board. This is quite the Paris experience! The timing of the circuit between meal courses and scenic views was perfect. See the Eiffel Tower explode with sparkling lights, duck going under bridges. For USA guests, there's a photo-op at the turn-around to capture the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower. Other guests came to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries, but it is a way to celebrate anything. The service and food were excellent. We ordered something different for each course and together we were pleased with our selections. And the singer--what a wonderful voice. She delighted the crowd with French tunes and some interesting covers of popular tunes. Altogether, a must do event.
Thank you so much for this glowing and detailed review! It was a true pleasure to read about your experience with us. We are delighted that you enjoyed the early tour of our hotel rooms—we love showing our guests the unique "Yacht Hotel" lifestyle. It’s wonderful to hear that the timing of the cruise allowed you to fully enjoy both the gourmet meal and the iconic sights, from the sparkling Eiffel Tower to our "mini" Statue of Liberty. I will certainly share your kind words with our chef and our singer. She will be thrilled to know her performance and repertoire added that special touch to your evening. Whether it's for a birthday or "just because," we strive to make every moment onboard a celebration. We hope to welcome you back to the Vip Paris Yacht Hôtel for another "must-do" Parisian night! Warm regards,
The price might be acceptable, if only there was some semblance of real service. Breakfast at €24 per person for the first price defrosted / burned of which half is missing and without any staff in the room, is the height of the scam. Dinner concert... great, the sound is so loud you can't hear the waiters. The kitchen staff are young people without any outfits or professionalism. And the amenities in the rooms are totally dilapidated. It is evident that no investment is made in proper maintenance of the premises and that considerable savings are made on staff and products. An Ibis budget level experience, so at least 3 times too expensive for what it is

The pictures are deceiving. It is a very boring dining room with no bar where you can sit at while you are waiting. We arrived at 6:45 pm and were allowed to sit at our reserved table, and had our complimentary glass of wine. The singer didn't start performing until 8:30, and she took many breaks in between songs. She had a beautiful voice, but my husband called her an "unprofessional professional." She lacked warmth and vivaciousness. Our waiter was very nice and efficient. The food was just okay. We actually couldn't wait to get off the ship. Overall, it was a little boring. The singer could have made it more fun, but she didn't. Her songs were very melancholy. Not what we expected. Save your money, and find another dinner cruise.
Good personal meal very friendly beautiful walk satisfied with the service up to our expectations and super singer Very pleasant evening And we went under the Eiffel Tower at the time of the illumination it was superb!! Thank you to all the crew
I would book the dinner alone - no drinks and buy a bottle of wine on board. Food was very good, entertainment was lovely. Beautiful evening timed so we had perfect pics of the sparking Eiffel Tower and Statue of Liberty!
I celebrated my birthday on the Seine River Dinner Cruise. The meal was excellent , the service was good and the singer was outstanding and entertaining. We got some fantastic photos of the Eiffel Tower. It was truly a night to remember.
And this is not even close to what was advertised. “4-hour cruise” “Start time 7pm” So, we rushed to get to the boat at 7 PM. Here’s what the itinerary actually consist of: Arrive to what is actually a boat hotel. Nobody greeting, no indication where to go, navigate your own way up a set of stairs to the top of the boat and then find another set of stairs which takes you down to the middle of the boat, where the hotel check-in desk is located where the front desk manager will check you in for the cruise but actually knows nothing about the cruise itself. 7:00-8:15: sit with the boat tied up in an ugly part of Paris while they try to sell you upgraded appetizers. 8:15-10:00: The actual cruise. Navigating by a very strange route that puts the boat in the opposite direction from all of the other books on the end, which means the Pro has to stop at every single bridge to let all the other boats pass before it can go through. Enjoy the smell of diesel fumes from the boat during this time. “3-course dinner”: It is true that they served a three course dinner. Was it any quality? Well, it might’ve been considered good food in Paris, Texas. “Live singer”: it is true that a woman sang twice for 15 minutes, and it is true that she was alive. 10:00: return to the dock at the ugly part of Paris, wait for 25 minutes for them to figure out how to use their own gangway, and then get off the boat. Very disappointing “Live singer”
An exceptional view, a singer with incredible voice and sensitivity, quality cuisine, all accompanied by very kind waiters. Thank you for this timeless moment
We went on Sunday evening in late August. Much of Paris was on holiday. It was easy enough to get to Port de la Rapee by taxi (though we did have to walk back to Gare de Lyon afterwards). There were only 20 people in a dining room for about 50; which was a good thing, as we wanted a dinner cruise that wasn't packed on a large boat. We got a drink and sat on the upper deck as the sun went down; the boat left at 8pm (though advertised for 7.30), and we travelled slowly upriver in time to reach the Eiffel Tower for its hourly light show - really good! We had selected dinner from the short list of options sent us earlier - foie gras, and asparagus followed by roast veal and sea bass; finished with nougat and a lemon mousse dish; all very good and restaurant quality. Wines by the glass pretty tasty and reasonably priced. The singer did a good job without being overwhelming, in front of a modest audience. All in all, it was exactly what I had searched for, and is a good choice if you want to pay up for good service and an evening cruise that is not rushed or packed with tourists.
