Description
We collect our guests at their accommodation in Swakopmund and along the coast to Walvis bay. We Transfer you for FREE. We include a light lunch and drinks on both tours. We use new modern unsinkable Kayaks easy for anybody to use and that can not capsize. Everybody gets a life jacket and the guide will coach you on the use of the Kayak. No previous experience required. Then we drive to the most memorable Dune Tour and your Namibia Highlight. We go where dune meets sea, harsh and desolate area constantly changing, yet quiet and relaxing, see amazing wild life, and thousand's of sea Birds. We go up towering Dunes, to the most beautiful view points, exciting dune drives with skilled and knowledgeable guides See thousands of pink Flamingos, Pelicans in the Ramsar Walvis bay Wetland . Visit the pink salt lakes of the biggest evaporation pond Salt Mine in Africa along the route and the seal colony at Pelican Point This is one of our most popular tours, family, youth and active tourists

Itinerary
We stop at the Flamingos and view the many beautiful birds at the Lagune.. We might see Pelicans and terns. The route takes us past the pink salt lakes of the huge Salt Mine and we learn how it works. We then turn north to Pelican point ;light house where the 50 000 seals colony is. We find a suitable spot to unload the Kayaks and then peddle into the Bay. The seals swim around the Kayaks, what an awesome experience. We serve some cool drinks and sandwiches once we are done .
Our journey takes us past the enormous Salt Mine harvesting 100000 tons per month, south along the beach to Sandwich Harbor where the Dune belt meets the sea . See the waves carve away the dunes at high tide where it sometimes becomes impossible to enter this beautiful and remote area. We go on a roller coaster dune ride up to the view point with absolute surprise to see the stunning views and the quiet desert ambiance. The huge sea of sand , the dunes, have that special kind of magic ...absolutely unique. Our knowledgeable guides will tell you about the desert area and skillfully drive you to the best spots. Adrenaline soaked dune drives , searching for animals in this desolate area , learn how the plants and animals have evolved to live in the desert. Absolutely Awesome , all of it. Pickup Locations & Times
We pick up all guests at any accommodation along the coast. Please contact us should your accommodation not be listed. We start in Swakopmund and pass through Walvis Bay 40 minutes later. You can also come with your own car to a predetermined pick-up point and leave it there. We will drop you off again afterwards. WE ARE THE ONLY KAYAKING COMPANY THAT OFFERS FREE PICK UP. You can however drive with your car to Dolphins Coffee shop in Walvis Bay Please take note all cruise liner passengers. We stand in the port after the first gate with a Gazebo that has our logo on. Please note your guide will also stand with a name board. please note all Cruise Liner passengers, your tour pick up time starts an hour after you have docked. The tour will depart latest an hour and a half after the pick up time. Late comers are considered a no show

We had a wonderful day with Le Clue and Volker. Both of them are very experienced guides, who could answer any of our questions, which was great. The Highlight was the Kayaking with the seals. You should bring towels and changing clothes. Everything was great and the guides deserved us a wonderful day! Highly recommended!

We first went on the Sandwich Harbour tour through the dunes and then kayaking with the seals. Our guide LeClue was absolutely great. He shared a lot of informative details about the region, the dunes, and the animals, answered questions in detail, and was overall very personable. You drive directly along the sea on the beach and afterwards have breathtaking views in the dunes. When kayaking, you are right next to the seals. We were even lucky enough to have a seal ride on our kayak for a few minutes. Thank you very much for the experience!

What an unbelievable day, outstanding. Volker our guide for the day was a wealth of knowledge.We were picked up on time and driven to Dolphin Point always felt safe with his driving especially on the sand dunes. The kayaking with the seals was very special and an amazing experience and then to follow with the sand dunes which were truely breathtaking and we just about had it all to ourselves.The fog did come in at one point but it did not spoil our wonderful day and a special thankyou to Volker for making it a truely memorable experience. If you are in Swakopmund this is a must do experience.

Just finished this incredible tour!! We had LeClue (aka Max Verstappen 🤣). First we did the sand dunes and what a fun and amazing time we had, such beauty! The drive to the dunes along the beach was brilliant. We then came back to a pelican Point and kayaked with the seals which rounded off the perfect day! Recommend 10/10!! LeClue answered many questions we all had and we are now full of amazing info on the area etc!! Thank you so very very much!!

Phenomenal experience between the seals and the dunes. Well taken care of and such an awesome fun time. Have done this tour twice now once in October 2025 and in June 2026 with my mom and aunt. Best of both worlds for a day trip.

Great excursion, one of the highlights of my trip to Namibia! Sure, it’s a little expensive, but it’s worth it. They pick you up at your hotel, so it’s one less day of driving yourself (you’ll probably do that a lot in Namibia so it’s nice to not being behind the wheel for a change). You’ll drive to Walvis Bay where you’ll be doing kayaking with the seals (awesome experience! they are lovely and make very cute sounds, and they weren’t aggressive at all) and then go for a drive on Sandwich Harbour with some stops to enjoy the views and take pictures. They also bring you lunch, which was very good, and beverages. They were very welcoming and nice, it was a wonderful day. Highly recommended!

Super punctual pickup, and everything started smoothly. The kayak tour was easy to conduct, as only about 100 meters from the beach needs to be rowed to be in the midst of the playful seals. Highly, highly recommended. Subsequently, we participated in the Sandwich Harbour tour, that is, along the sea and then into the dunes. Very spectacular with great pictures. Furthermore, the food or snacks were indeed excellent… In particular, we must thank our guide Leclue for the detailed explanations, not only about the history of the area but also generally about Namibia.
