this year had an unforgettable holiday in hotel barut acanthus cennet te side.everything is one hundred percent not so bad .the beautiful room the friendly staff and the delicious food.Located by the sea on the hiking path to side and kumkoy.
Nice stay at Sarovar portico. Also nice Gesture and Helping nature by Girish Kumar . Cleaning and staff behaviour is also awesome
So-called Super Nice bus is super-super bad. Don’t take them ever. Their bus is usually quite empty and now I know why. Very lousy service.
During the first day of our stay at Hotel Albatros in Cavtat, Croatia, our room turned out to have a shower in the bath with a high entry. Not a pleasant idea for seniors, so we asked at reception for another room with a walk-in shower This was arranged in no time and this very good service should also be reported. Partly because of this excellent service, our stay there was very pleasant.
It was very nice and clean hotel and really enjoyed the service here.I will choose this hotel when I come back to India again.
our Sapa tours was well organised and better than expected. Stayed at 4 stars hotel Sapa Unique Hotel with amazing staff. Wasnt a group tour as I had thought as we were just dropped off and all tours were arranged from the hotel. All meals were at the hotel as well. Food served was delicious. Transport by new lux sleeper bus was comfortable. First day was trekking with a guide from Lao Cai to Ta Van. On the second day there were multiple options of Cat Cat vilage,We had time to explore sapa town as well.overall, good experience for the tour and tour operator :-) thank you
A very enjoyable tour to Sapa. We were greeted in Sapa by our local guide who was very kind and knowledgeable. Although it was off-season and misty, we still enjoyed the trek through the mountains. Food at hotel was also good and the bus with the beds on it was very comfortable. I recommend going when the rice fields are ready for havest.
We booked the tour online for 2 days with transfer in a luxury sleeping bus and a night in a 4-star hotel. I will describe the tour point by point: Transfer: We were picked up at our hotel in Hanoi. The description said the transfer would take place in a luxury sleeping bus. It turned out that it was in fact a van where we were seated in the front next to the driver without any comfort. We could hardly move our legs (see pictures). When we asked to be seated in the back with more comfortable seats, the driver became aggressive and yelled at us. So we sat in the front for the whole drive, as we were afraid he would kick us out of the car. During the drive his behaviour was intolerable. He used his smartphone all the time, not watching the traffic, drove way too fast and overtook in dangerous situations. All passengers became nervous and afraid, when we asked him to drive more carefully he yelled at us again. When we contacted the organizer of the tour, we were told that our booking included the front seats and wanted more money to seat us in the more comfortable seats. There was nothing written of this in the description of the booking before. Luckily, on the ride back to Hanoi we were seated in a comfortable bus with a sane driver. Hotel: We spent more money to stay at the Freesia Hotel with supposedly 4 stars. The hotel turned out to be a dirty shelter full of mold (see pictures). The bed was uncomfortable and the walls were thin, so we hardly got any sleep. When we saw the cook lick off the spoon and stir the soup afterwards, we also decided not to eat there. Tour: Our tour guides were really friendly and tried their best. The walk to Cat Cat village on day one consisted mainly of a walk at the side of the main street. The village itself is small and has nothing to do with an authentic experience. It appears more that the people there realized they can sell their home for Instagram tourism. There were pseudo-romantic artificial photo spots all the way and people dressed with the „traditional clothes“ to take pictures everywhere. Nothing left of the original village. The walk on the second day was indeed way better, we really enjoyed the walk with our guide. We recommend to take enough water, as bottled water was not provided. You would need to buy expensive water on the way. Lunch was served in one of the villages on the way. We were lucky that we ate enough, as the sandwiches for the way back to Hanoi which were promised in the tour description did not exist. All in all it is really sad that we had to write this review, especially as the guides did their very best. However, the circumstances of the organization were not tolerable. We really recommend to go to Sa Pa and have a walk through the rice fields, but choose another organizer. This one is scam and you will regret it.
The activity itself was interesting. Be prepared to hike downhill for several miles. Do not go to Sapa on the weekend it is overrun by Viet tourist with days off. It was a beast to get through the nearest village The drivers for this company we’re ridiculously reckless. Yes I know viet driving is reckless but the two drivers were on the phone with each other the entire time egging each other to cutoff and pass where no other bus companies were doing. Also I suggest doing more than two days, one night due to the lengthy drive from and to Sapa. Others on our trek said they had a great experience with the overnight sleeper bus (under 6’2” was the only suggestion) Rice fields, villages, even pigeon Forge-ish Sapa were near to see. If you book hotel thru them make them tell you the hotel name so you can check it out, our “4 star” was a 2, staff helpful but hotel Freestra (sp?) was dated
The guide was very nice and helpful, the information was well communicated between the staff and we were informed clearly of the tour details. Well recommended 👌
