We had a great hike and trekking tour to the top of fansipan mountain! It was a difficult hike but we were happy to get some exercise after traveling for 2 weeks and we had a great time on the hike. The weather was very cloudy at the top but we had some great views along the way and the cable car views on the way down were stunning! I would definitely recommend this trekking tour to anyone who enjoys hiking with great views!

The woman who walked with us was extremely friendly and explained us many things without us having to ask for it. But all the questions we asked were answered very detailed. The lunch was great and the pick up as well as the drive home very easy! I would recommend booking the trip any time.

The trekking is not for the fainted heart. Sung our tour guide mentioned about the path will be slippery and muddy, and she was not kidding. Communication with Sung was good. Dont mind recommending her to others.
Thank you very much for your sharing. Yes, we will inform the guests about trekking map in advance and show you how hard it is. You can choose easy trekking too.
Our guide Ms Song, a petite lady met us on time at the hotel. We have to walk more than a km to the start of the journey. Before we start the trek to Y Linh Ho, Ms Song explained that the full hike will take abt 15km and the shorter route will be around 5km. The ladies in the group opted for the shorter route. With that, we have to walk another 20 mins on paved roads to another starting point. Personally, I was disappointed not to proceed with the full trek. I wish she has not given us the option. It was a nice cool weather but a little hazy. We were lucky that the tracks were dry. The view was good but not exceptional. I have seen better rice terraced fields than these. The first part of the trek was easy. When we approached the second part of the trek to Lao Cai, where we have to go downhill, it could be challenging as it was steep and narrow. Luckily, the local ladies were on hand to help the ladies. The hike stopped at Lao Cai for lunch. This was where the local ladies would sell their goods to you. We bought some stuff from them and also gave tips in appreciation for their assistance. The trek from Lao Cai to Ta Van was relatively easy on flat ground and mostly on paved roads. From the pick-up point at Ta Van, it was a 20 mins taxi ride back to the hotel.
Thank you very much!
Was a day we will never forget. In taking the ‘easier’ trek, realised that we had made the right choice. It was quite difficult and slippery, but got through it with the help of the local ladies from Village. I would suggest you wear weather proof hiking boots. The guide was very friendly and informative.
Thank you very much for sharing your experience! Yes. Trekking in Sapa is an adventure thing to do. But we are happy to know that you enjoyed the trip very much
It was a lovely experience in contact with nature, although there is already a great increase in buildings for tourists, which can be seen in more accumulation of garbage.
Thank you very much!
