In The Morning: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai (15km or around 3.5 hours)
- Get to Y Linh Ho, a village of Black Hmong people. You will get see the panorama view of Muong Hoa Valley and breathtaking scenery of rice paddies.
Reaching Lao Chai, a traditional village of Hmong, another beautiful panorama view. Our guide will introduce the terraced rice fields and the history of Lao Chai village.

Tza was our guide. 2h walking downhills, then lunch and 1h walking after mostly flat with light hills. We didn’t walk in any rice fields. Lots of vendors on the roads. We were followed by 2 girls with backpacks that wait until lunch to sell their stock.

Sung was a wonderful tour guide. We were traveling with a walking-adverse 4 year old and she kept the tour easy and well-paced. We got totally see the village where she grew up and walked in some more quiet villages and rice fields. Such a sweet personality and her English was excellent! Highly recommend her

Our guide, Sue, was excellent. She spoke English well. She prepared our lunch herself and it was the best meal we have had in Vietnam. We got rides at the start and end of the day, which was great. The length and difficulty of the hike was just right for our group. We walked through beautiful scenery and interesting farms and villages.
