Learn about the island’s volcanic soil, which adds to the local viticulture. Taste 12 different wines and 3 local beers paired with local cheeses and Greek delicacies. Start at the local Santorini Brewing Company and taste three different beers. Continue to the winery (Art Space) in the picturesque village of Exo Gonia, named Greece's best winery. Visit the underground cellars before heading to the Argyros Estate. The Argyros Estate offers a modern aesthetic while adhering to traditional methods of wine production, such as using mules to plow the fields and grape byproducts to enrich the soil. End the tour at Anhydrous Winery, Hatzidakis Winery, Venetsanos Winery or Artemis Karamolegos Winery (upon availability).

Avantis Estate’s winemaker, Mr. Apostolos Mountrichas fell in love with Santorini and the strong personality of Assyrtiko and started his Santorini project in 2012. He completed his project in 2021 by founding Anhydrous Winery. His philosophy rely on experimentations in ancient wine making techniques that produce modern wines with purity and primary varietal characteristics.

The wine guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and made the overall experience worth every dollar. All of the wineries were beautiful and the people were amazing! Definitely put this on your itinerary.

Hailey and I got married in Santorini this past week. We decided to book a private wine tour to learn more about the way wine is made and the different types of wine. Billy was our driver. Billy made our experience so fun that we never wanted it to end. Ever winery was so inviting and professional. We would 10/10 recommend this experience.

The tour was very informative, we tasted a wide selection of wines and beers and some tasty snacks throughout. We were also really lucky that the other two couples on the tour were also on their honeymoon so it was a really lovely afternoon/ evening.
