I had believed. maybe incorrectly, that the volcano path was accessible without charge but not so. Poor comms on the boat ( noisy families , poor English, rushed messages) meant we did not understand how to reach the accompanying guide. The guide set off far too fast and we struggled ( we are not spring chickens but this was too much for us and I turned back.. while still able to make it back to the boat)... my intrepid other half carried on but she was pretty exhausted at the end...) The hot springs swimming opportunity was underwhelming. For us therefore it was really just a glorified boat trip....OK but nothing special .
A great boat and a great guide. An interesting experience to visit the volcano and swim in the hot springs
Great trip and enough time to explore both stops, highly recommend!
We recommend this trip, it was really worth it! If you visit Santorini it’s a must have trip. The guide and captain is kind also, we visited the vulcano and swam in the hot springs. It was a wonderful adventure.
Very entertaining and the best part was bathing in sulfur water.
This was absolutely the worst tour ever. I’ve done over 40 excursions using Viator and this one by far was horrible. First the staff has the worst communication. No direction on how to get to the meeting spot. We spent over an hour trying to find it. Then a hr hike unprepared up a mountain. No advance notice and only 20min in the hot spring out of a 3 hour tour
We really enjoyed this adventure and a highlight of our trip!! We walked down the steps to the port and it was mostly shade in the morning. The boat ride and volcane hike was cool to see- despite the heat. Wear good walking shoes and lots of water! We really enjoyed the trip to the hot springs which involves jumping off the boat / or can request a ladder. The water is initially cool then swim to the hot springs. We used pool noodles and most people did on the boat! It was a great day for us all. We took the donkeys on the way back, but can also take a cable car. Both are 10€.
Such an amazing and unique experience for such a great price!!!
Our family loved this expedition. The boat is beautiful. The hot spring is unique. This is the hot spring can only be accessed by swimming in ocean. So fun! Highly recommend to explore outside Santorini!
We had an amazing time! The hike up to the volcano was beautiful, and our tour guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience even better. After the hike, we relaxed at the hot springs and enjoyed swimming. It was the perfect way to end the day. I highly recommend this tour, especially for the price. It was an incredible value!
