1952:The story of our winery begins with grandfather Artemis Karamolegos cultivating his vineyard in Exo Gonia. He mainly produces wine for his family, but he also sells wine. 1995:Artemis Karamolegos’ son, Vangelis, takes over the wine production, but again, not at a professional level 2003:Artemis Karamolegos, the grandson, is handed the reins of the family business. He begins to produce the good quality, bottled and labelled (then Ο.P.Α.P) wine “SANTORINI”. 2004:Artemis oversees the renewal of the old vineyard. He plants rare traditional Santorini varieties of grape such as Assyrtiko, Aidani and Mavrotragano. He starts selling the winery’s first bottled wines, Santorini, Nykteri and Vinsanto, on the local market. Winery Tour and Tasting ( 6 glasses of Wine)
A truly authentic and traditional wine tasting experience in a laid-back, family-run winery that’s been around since the 1950s.Tastings can include Roze, Brousko, Mezzo, and Vinsanto, as well as Nychteri – a traditional Santorinian wine made from overripe grapes and aged in old Russian or French barrels. In addition to wines, the Arvanitis sell a variety of homemade products such as olive oil, vinegar, sun-dried tomatoes, jams, Greek fava (yellow split pea dip), and lemonsanto, a liquor made with 100% Santorinian lemons; all grown and packaged by the family.
Oia is the most beautiful village of Santorini that recently started looking like a glamorous town. Enjoy the unique sunset after the premium wine tour!

Our party of 4 had an incredible wine tasting experience with our driver and guide Elias Grigoris. We have traveled extensively and would highly recommend asking for Elias because of his knowledge of Greek culture and history. Elias was a great host and created a fantastic experience on our wine tour even recommending a great place for lunch after our tour.

This wine tour was a great way to experience Santorini, with visits to three excellent wineries followed by a beautiful sunset in Oia before returning to the hotel. Our driver Elias was courteous, knowledgeable, and shared interesting information about the island throughout the trip. The itinerary was well organized and moved at a comfortable pace without feeling rushed. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable introduction to Santorini’s wine and scenery.

Great experience and educational on wines of the region. We were picked up in a private car, provided insight access to areas not part of a standard tasting. We even got to do sunset photos in a premium location and a fabulous restaurant recommendation. Best part of our stay.
We absolutely loved Fani! She is so kind and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. She even had a secret spot to take sunset photos which was incredible.
