We had a great time looking for various animals; we were able to see monkeys, sloths, birds, a caiman, a turtle, a capybara.. Despite the rainy weather, Maria remained very enthusiastic and taught us a huge amount about the local fauna and flora. Roberto, our driver, was also very friendly, which allowed us to have a very good time! We highly recommend it ++

We were taken care of by Pablo. Our vehicle was waiting for us, on time, in front of our hotel. Despite gloomy weather, we saw quite a few animals at the Botanical Garden first and then in the outskirts of Santa Cruz. Access to the Botanical Garden is possible by bus, on your own. But I would have had a hard time doing it, I think, and above all, I would not have seen the sloths. They hide well and without a guide, it is difficult to spot them!

We booked the tour on a short notice and we were accommodated accordingly. Excellent communication from Nick’s Adventurers and the local provider, as well as the tour guide. The tour guide and the driver picked us up on time from our hotel. Our tour guide, Fernanda, spoke fluent English and was very knowledgeable about the local ecosystem and took us to locations where we were able to see sloths, monkeys, colorful birds, and other endemic wildlife. The tour made us appreciate nature even more. Edil, our driver, was very warm, hospitable, and drove safely. He also ensured we got in and out of the car safely. He also assisted in spotting wildlife in the forested areas. They both took their time, and made sure we had an enjoyable and unforgettable excursion. I highly recommend this tour.

In June of 2026 I went to Jaguar Land with a crew from Nick's Adventures, a company offering adventurous excursions all over Bolivia. Jaguar Land is a rural area northeast of Santa Cruz, given its name due to the high-density jaguar population around a working farm with hundreds of acres of fields and forested tree lines. Communication with Nick in the preceding months leading up to the excursion was always punctual and thorough. The team for my three-day excursion consisted of a tracker, driver, and cook, all of which were very friendly and passionate about their jobs. All meals were flavorful and varied in generous amounts. The campsite was laid out well with tents large enough to walk around in and spread out gear. The time spent on animal drives was optimized with great efficiency. We went on drives in the morning, afternoon, and evening, each for several hours around different areas. The property is so vast it feels like you have the entire place to yourself. During the three days we had many animal encounters, including hundreds of birds, three different monkey species, deer, foxes, agoutis, coatis, sloths, capybaras, caimans, two tapirs, peccaries, three jaguars, one puma, and an ocelot. I highly recommend this excursion. You'll have memories for a lifetime.

We toured Bolivia with Nick's adventure tours in December 2025. I can say that its one of the best holidays we have ever had. Nick and his team made sure that every need we have was met and arranged an excellent alternative when Jaguarland our first choice was flooded. San Miguelito jaguar Conservation ranch was perfect for wildlife sightings, best hosting and best food. We were very happy with the change. Our Uyuni part of the trip was also wonderful with excellent guides and great hotels. Bolivia is an amazing country and Nick and his team ensured that we had the best holiday. Feliz Navidad!!

Good tour. Very convenient opportunity to see animals in a beautiful nature preserve only 30 minutes from downtown. We saw howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, sloths, caimans, lizards, and coati in addition to sloths. Maris, our guide, was friendly fun and informative.

Nick was quick to respond to inquiries. I had Fernanda as my guide and Rodrigo driving. Fernanda is a biologist by profession and you can feel her enthusiasm on what she does. She is filled with positive energy and optimism. We saw 9 sloths and 2 species of monkeys. The sloth sightings were amazing and we had an unbelievable close encounter with a mother sloth carrying her tiny baby cute sloth. Fernanda also conversant in English and had great intuition on spotting wildlife. Rodrigo spoke little English but he still tried to have a conversation with me. Over-all, very happy with the outcome of the tour.

The tour was excellent. Pablo our guide was very knowledgeable and good company. Our driver helped as a spotter looking for wildlife. I photographed so many new birds and animals. I was so pleased I booked a 2 day tour after.
