Our guide was amazing They were very attentive. caring, knowledgeable and helpful. The tour itself was exciting. The caves were breathtaking. A must see!!!
Tour was great! Guide Paulo very nice, made sure we were safe, comfortable, and enjoying the sights. Taught us about how and when the different landscapes evolved. Skipper was also friendly, nice, and managed the slightly rocky waters perfectly. The volcanic structures were beautiful and the up close view - amazing! Hearing the birds chirping and waves crashing was really nature’s beauty at its best! My 13 yr old daughter who’d rather be on her phone actually had a good time and said how much fun she was having. It definitely was the highlight of our 4 day trip to Sao Miguel. Cost reasonable and well worth it. 3Hr length perfect, sights truly amazing. Only 10 seats to the speed boat which is nice if you don’t like big crowds. It was clean and looked newer which is always a plus for me. Highly recommend! FYI jockey seats so you will have to get your leg up and over and seats don’t have a lot of room from the one in front of you if size is a concern. If you have back and neck problems, check the forecast before reserving. There is no stop at a beach so bathing suit and towel not needed.
Probably the best experience we had on our wonderful trip to San Miguel. We're not geology geeks, but Lus an Nanu were the most hospitable and knowledgeable guides you could hope for. The trip included amazing views of cliffs and caves and was great fun with a very small group, making it comfortable to ask questions and engage with the culture.
Fantastic trip. No other way to see these incredible sea caves. The guides were very informative and made the trip fun.
Luis was knowledgeable and engaging on geology of Sao Miguel's north coast. He made passengers comfortable and entertained.
The trip with Azores Seascapes was truly memorable and a highlight of our visit to Sao Miguel. Luis and Nuno were incredible hosts - truly knowledgeable, skilled at what they do, and super kind. The ride was educational and the beauty of the many caves we explored could not be captured with the pictures we were able to take away with us.
This is really a wonderful trip to take while visiting Sao Miguel. Guide Luis is a true born and bred local and has such a great passion for the island, the ocean and all that it harbours. The boat ride along the coast is stunning, the caves are breathtaking (you actually go into the caves by boat) and Luis makes sure everyone is personally seen and heard. It's a very personal experience, complete with tea and cookies. We'd say, do this trip if you have time! And when you do, make sure you book it with Luis and not with the other bigger organisations with big boats and megaphones... We saw them too and that was such a difference. Go for the local, it's well worth it. :)
The guide Luís was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making the whole trip even more enjoyable. The scenery along the north coast is simply breathtaking, with stunning sea caves and crystal-clear waters. The skipper, took us safely deep inside every accessible cave, giving us an unique perspective. Highly recommended—definitely one of the highlights of our trip to São Miguel!
We had a wonderful time with Luis and Miguel! They were friendly, authentic and knowledgeable! Gorgeous views and great company :) I highly recommend!
I have been to 23 countries and this tour is my favorite. Luis is amazing, Skipper Nunu is outstanding. The tour was breath taking, I enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend.
