Alessandro was super knowledgeable, fun and a great guide overall. I highly recommend this walking tour with him!
Alessandro provided good information on our tour to help us know the significance of what we were seeing. The day was very hot and he was always on the lookout for cooler places to stand when describing what we were looking at. We especially appreciated the local recommendations and we had dinner on a different night that was one of those recommendations. We enjoyed that meal very much. The headsets worked well in hearing his commentary. Our only issue with them was keeping them on our ears. We also did the optional gondola ride and our gondolier was good. Just wish it had lasted longer and a better seat for two of our four passengers.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and took time to answer questions and didn’t rush to when I stopped to take pictures etc. She was engaging and a delight.

My tour was actually called "City Centre Historical Guided Walking Tour" and that's exactly what it was. Valentina was an excellent guide. We learnt a great deal of the early history of Venice. After St Mark's Square we went down many narrow streets and saw parts of the centre that you probably would miss on your own. A fabulous tour and the drink was very welcome.
