Itinerary
On this tour, we pick up travelers from the hotel or meeting places where they stay between 08:00 and 09:00 in the morning. After a 1 hour journey, we arrive at Saklikent canyon about at 10:00, which is our first stop.
And now, the famous gorge — Saklikent! Saklikent Gorge is the second longest canyon in Europe. But be warned before stepping into the water — it’s icy cold! You can jump in and explore the canyon on your own or with a private guide. Or, if the water is too cold for you, simply relax and enjoy the atmosphere at one of the riverside cafés with a hot tea or coffee. Okay… a cold beer sounds great too! After exploring Saklikent Gorge, we’ll head to our restaurant located just 5 minutes away from the canyon for a delicious lunch. Once we’ve enjoyed our meal, we’ll continue on to Yaka Village for the next part of our journey.
We will visit Yakapark Restaurant, located in Yakaköy. This unique spot features live trout, natural waterfalls, and 500-year-old plane trees. It also offers fantastic opportunities for photography in a stunning natural setting.
We will visit the ruins of Tlos city which was an Lycian city and the settlement here is 4000 years old. The city is ruined but historian and archaeologist says that the city was one of the most important religious city of Lycia. The settlement of the city is on the hills and its believed in the mythology that Bellerophon lived in Tlos with his flying horse Pegasus and he has a king type tomb in the necropolis dedicated by citizens of Lycia.
After visiting the Tloss Ancient City, which is our last stop, we are moving to drop our customers off at the place we picked up in the morning. We will have finished our tour in about 1.5 hours.

Great, well-organized day trip! We would especially like to highlight our English-speaking guide "Love." She accompanied us excellently throughout the day, provided many interesting and informative insights, and always ensured a pleasant atmosphere. Absolutely recommendable!
Pick up on time with very friendly tour guide. All the sights were great, although we were restricted due to flood water. The lunch stop was also lovely and really nice lunch. Well worth going and the countryside was beautiful.
The sites visited were not too far from our hotel in Fethiye and were very interesting. Our guide was very informative and very knowledgable. To maximise the number of persons on the trip we stopped at a rendezvous point and some of us had to switch minibuses as the guide explained this was done to keep costs down which is understandable but was not mentioned at time of booking. This caused a problem-more later. Our bus was full to capacity and I could not sit next to my wife for the whole trip. The Saklikent Gorge was very impressive. Truly spectacular. The lunch stop was very basic with mostly chilled or cold food. But adequate-just. The stop at the local village was ok, but not much to see or do. The ancient city of Tlos was also very impressive, but with a lot of walking in searing heat made it difficult to enjoy, but we are in SW Turkey after all, so no right to moan, too much. On the way back we again had a rendezvous but we were forgotten about and after the last people were dropped off in Oludeniz it dawned on the guide that we were still on board! He said he had announced that we should have got off at the RV point, but no announcement had been made. As a consequence we had to catch a service bus back to our hotel as our minibus couldn’t take us! The guide did accompany us and paid for this additional element of the trip but there was an implication that it was us that was wrong by missing the announcement which was never made!! It made us about 1.5 hrs late getting back to our hotel, very tired and exhausted. We feel that putting us on a service bus back was not really appropriate, but that’s our story for your information. We’ll do a private tour next time…..
I went on the jeep safari with my 2 children age 11 & 9 and I can say this was the best day of our 7 day trip to Fethiye! I paid £15 for myself and the children were £10 each. This included lunch which was fish or grilled chicken, we opted for the chicken. Such good value for money! Drinks were not provided which was not an issue at all as they were cheap wherever we stopped. We had a water fight which was on and off for hours! It was such fun, I would say be prepared to get soaked! My children loved it as did I! We stopped of at Yakapark to take part in the zip line which was at an additional cost, again not an issue. We also stopped at Saklikent which is so beautiful and there you could take part in additional activities. This is an amazing day out and I would recommend it. Cannot speak highly enough about it. Thank you to the team, I would definitely do it all again xx
Fantastic day! The gorge is remarkable, however you only have 2 hours to explore it which doesnt give you time to get to the large waterfall. I loved that this was free time for exploring. Lunch was delish, but rushed at just 30mins, the ruins/castle/theatre and Pegasus temple super interesting and Yakka Park a delight, daybeds, trout swimming along the bar and waterfalls out of trees. Kids love it here! Our beautiful funny guide was brilliant we had a great day, thankyou!
Loved this tour. It allowed me free time to walked the grove which is beautiful. Bring water shoes to this tour or you can buy a pair inside the grove. The ruins of Tlos were also beautiful and as everything in Turkey full of history. I was lucky to have the nicest, caring, and knowledgeable tour guide Sevgi (hopefully I spelled it right).
We had the best time on this day trip which included a massive Water Fight, Caves, Trout Farm (including a perfectly fine lunch for the Price-I had the Trout which came from the pond I was sitting next to) then onwards to Silikent gorge but it's definitely worth paying the extra to go on the river first (rubber single dinghy's which can be roped together up to 3 people) this was freezing but so funny and memorable. The gorge is amazing and we went up about 25 mins but if you go on your own here you could spend all day. Last up was the Mud Bath (load of rubbish in regards to health benefits but what a laugh and a giggle it was) if you do go in Oct, please remember to wash off the mud it's a freezing cold shower 🥶 Sam Sam Sam the guide was excellent and helped inform and give us all a laugh along the way. The buses were a bit rag-tag but ok and the music was initially far too loud for all the passengers and after a chat with Sam it was turned down to a decent background noise level which allows you to admire the views in a more peaceful way. My wife, son 17 and daughters 13 and 10 all loved it and at the end an incredibly reasonable price for professional quality photos of the day. What a bargain this is (would cost 4 times this in the UK) Thanks to the team and will definitely look to do another trip with you when we return next year (first time in Turkey and we love it here so much more friendly than Spain)
