I booked the Saint Chapelle / Conciereges tour during my stay in Paris. Alban was our group’s tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history behind both buildings and, indeed, about French history overall. We also had a brief walk around the front of Notre Dame. Again, Alban was great explaining some of the history there. He is a pleasant person, very engaging. Saint Chapelle is beautiful, highly recommended tour!
This is wonderful experience and excellent tour. I am the only one on this tour . Miriam became my private guide. She is knowledgeable and very pleasant ; an excellent tour guide. We had wonderful conversations. However, the meeting place has not clarified at front of Café, had a little trouble to meet Miriam. All in all, Saint Chapelle is spectacular and intricate, the beautiful stained glass windows narrate the biblical history and stories. Learn a lot from Miriam. The Conciergerie is magnificent gothic architecture, has historical significance.
Nadia was great! She was so knowledgeable and Saint Chapelle was so amazingly beautiful. And the tour extended to the halls of justice which were also very interesting!
Nadia was both knowledgeable and fun. She had so many amazing facts about French history and kept us thirsty to know more
Booked tour and received text confirmation . Vendor canceled tour with out our knowledge . We arrived and planned our day around the tour , which they canceled .
We are very sorry this happened during your stay in Paris. Due to extreme heat, the site was closed. Your tour was canceled, and a full refund was processed. As the closure was entirely beyond our control, there was no way for us to operate the experience as planned. We sincerely regret the disappointment this caused and hope you'll have the opportunity to visit again under better circumstances.
A very interesting tour with excellent information provided by our tour guide. Fully recommend this tour which is the right length for the information and areas visited. The stained glass windows of Saint Chapelle are amazing in their complexity and small sizes of each piece of glass.
She has so much knowledge of history and art. She’s a great storyteller and is super nice too.
William was very knowledgeable and he allowed for the tour to be interactive. Thank you very much William
I booked La Chapelle snd Conciergie. When we met the guide, there was four of us and she said she wanted to go first to Notre Dame. I thought that was strange since it was not in the itinerary and she was going through every detail on the exterior for 45 minutes. Then we went to La Chappelle and her tour was very good and then she’s she said we’re going to Concergerie but we couldn’t do it the way they normally do because she didn’t have the time! She rushed us through a few spots and then said I gotta go. You can walk around and downstairs is the exit in the bathrooms and she left! The main thing I wanted to see was the Concergerie with an explanation. I booked this tour because I was fascinated with it and we did not get a proper tour. I am very upset.!
Unfortunately, during your visit, several monuments were subject to unexpected closures due to the extreme heatwave. These decisions were made by the monument authorities for safety reasons and were entirely outside our control. Our guides went above and beyond throughout the day, adapting the itinerary in real time, assisting guests affected by the heat, including those who fainted, and doing everything possible to ensure everyone remained safe while still providing the best experience they could under extraordinary circumstances. We're delighted that you appreciated your guide's expertise. As the opening status of the monuments was changing throughout the day, the guide continuously adjusted the route to make the most of the sites that remained accessible and to give the group the best possible experience despite the exceptional conditions.
Saint Chappelle was closed due to heat, so an alternative was offered (without discount or refund options). Guide seemed disinterested & rushed.
