Tour guide was a no show. No explanation, and bo response to my messages. Viator in the meantime has me jumping through hoops to have my payment reimbursed. There’s been no apologies and it seems that this is business-as-normal for these ‘providers’. This may be an anomaly but I certainly will be looking elsewhere in the future and I recommend others to take caution.
I went to Vietnam last Christmas due to my family's vacation. As beginning everything was good but Tony and his team even made it better. We fully discovered Chinatown with local experts - listened to the story - captured every memorable moment at Thien Hau temple or Hao Si Phuong alleys ... it was fantastic. Thank you so much for beautifying my family vacation and hope that I can come back again for further experiences with SaiGon_ChoLon with my beloved experts.
My half-day tour to Saigon Cholon was a great experience, thanks to my excellent guide Minh. He asked beforehand if I had any special interests and then tailored the tour for me but didn't forget the essentials of Cholon - background, way of living and possible futures. My main interest were the temples and I surely got clear explanations of gods and deities, reasons and ways of worshipping them, and even co-operation and intrigues between different religious parties in Cholon. And of course the tour included delicious local food in an alley-eatery followed by a visit to a hidden top-floor café. I highly recommend.
