The architecture is incredible, the rest is a theme park without spirituality...what a shame if Antonio Gaudí were to raise his head......
I booked the Sagrada Família Guided Tour for June 30th at 4:00 PM. I traveled all the way to the starting point, arriving 20 minutes early, only to be told face-to-face that the tour was cancelled. The company claimed they notified Viator, but I never received a single email or notification about the cancellation. To make matters worse, Viator sent me an automated "How was your tour?" email afterward asking for a review. I wasted both time and money on transportation to get there for nothing. Utterly disorganized communication between the local operator and the booking platform. Still waiting on a hassle-free refund.
Horrible we were at the church 3:30 Our tour was at 4:00 We could not locate Julia’s Travel address because we were not aware of having to go to that address because it didn’t print out on our paperwork.l called her and she was very short with me when we couldn’t find her !! Then I tried calling her back and no answer!! She refused our refund!!! So due to mis communication I would never use these people again!!
This Familia Sorada was the most amazing tour and Jose did a fantastic job as our tour guide. The history that he shared the great experience was all embodied in an excellent tour in a fantastic experience. We loved every minute of it and highly recommend this tour not only was this tour fantastic but Jose really made it special.!
There was a strike, they cancelled the tour. I need to get a refund. The tour company said i need to get it from you.
Having toured the basilica 2 other times we were looking forward to this visit---BUT we had arrived late the night before from a transoceanic flight and unfortunately slept in the morning of the tour!!
We needed to reschedule from a Saturday Tour to a Monday Tour because our flight got cancelled and went out one day later. We were charged a “penalty” charge of 60% per ticket. We tried to reschedule this when we knew we would miss our original date. The company would not waive or reduce this fee. Everyone wanted to pass the buck; travel agent, American Airlines, tour company. Very bad experience.
Dear Jay F, We regret that the rescheduling process did not meet your expectations. Please note that it is very difficult to rebook Sagrada Familia tours with less than 48 hours' notice, as availability at the monument is extremely limited. When a rescheduling request cannot be accommodated in advance, the only option we can offer is for customers to visit our office on the next available day and check for last-minute availability. This process does involve an additional cost, as new tickets must be purchased. The original Sagrada Familia tickets are non-refundable and cannot be modified once issued. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Best regards,
If you are in Barcelona, the Sagrada Familia is a must see! Every step is like an adventure. There are so many things to see and a tour guide is a must. Our guide name was IXELL and she had excelent knowledge.
This tour allowed us to “skip the line” with a guide. Sarah F. who fully explained and guided us through security, into the church and provided us with a wonderful overview of the history on through the current day construction. She was personable, professional and answered questions. After the official tour concluded, she explained how to get a view of a tower, which is at your own pace. You are also able to spend as much time as you want on the grounds and in the church. Definitely recommend this tour if you want both a guide and chance to explore in your own.
Our guided tour of the Sagrada Família was absolutely worth every penny. Irina S. was an exceptional guide — knowledgeable, passionate, and full of fascinating stories about Gaudí’s vision and the basilica’s incredible history. Thanks to her, we didn’t just see the building, we truly understood it.
