Itinerary
Iconsiam, is a mixed-use development on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, Thailand. It includes a large shopping mall, which opened to the public on 10 November 2018, as well as hotels and residences. Here is where you will depart for the Saffron Cruise.
The Holy Rosary Church, is a Roman Catholic Church built in 1769 by a resettlement of Portuguese Catholics and just further up is China Town which was founded in 1782.
Santa Cruz Church is another Catholic Church marking the legacy of Thai – Portuguese relations dating back to the 16th century. The Portuguese were the first Europeans in Thailand who were allowed to reside and trade in the country.
Guan Yu Shrine, a historic shrine of the god of war and faithfulness in ancient Chinese beliefs, is one of the first significant places that the boat will pass during the dinner cruise.
Just past the Rama VIII bridge is the Bank of Thailand Museum, which is housed in the Bang Khun Phrom Palace, the former residence of Prince Paribatra Sukhumbandhu, who was the 33rd son of King Chulalongkorn.
Of all 14 forts that were built over 200 years ago to protect Bangkok, only 2 are still standing, including Phra Sumen Fort. The original cannon can still be seen mounted on the upper battlement
The iconic and impressive bridge is a landmark in Bangkok. The cable-stayed bridge is a feat of modern Thai engineering and the best and closest way to see it is by cruising right underneath it.
Bangkok's famous palace complex was built in 1782 and features several magnificent buildings including Wat Phra Kaeo (Temple of the Emerald Buddha). At night the compound is illuminated by floodlights resulting in the golden tiled rooftops sparkling beauty.
This temple is considered to be the most famous and photographed temple in Bangkok, which features a soaring 70-meter-high spire decorated with tiny pieces of colored glass and Chinese porcelain. Under floodlights at night it is a jaw-dropping sight!

- Dress code: Casual (flip-flops and athletic apparel are not permitted. Ladies are kindly requested not to wear denim shorts or hot pants).
- Please note that this is a food only menu. Beverages can be purchased on board and added to the master bill as per consumption.
- If there is a low or high tide, the cruise may not pass certain landmarks. This is beyond our control and for the safety of the guests and no refunds will be given.
- There may be a DJ on board the cruise every Friday and Saturday, depending on availability

If you've never been to the Icon Siam Shopping Complex before, be sure to arrive at 1 hour before. It's like the Super Bowl, thousands of people, congested, complex, few speak English, and the boarding area is hard to find. However, the cruise is WONDERFUL! Once you board, the staff attend to your every need, are gracious, courteous, the food is delicious, and the few of the Icon Siam complex, King's Palace, and downtown Bangkok are fantastic! Avery memorable experience and we couldn't have been more pleased!

Was a really nice experience. Drinks were just ok. Nice staff. There are a lot of options for cruises… others we passed were full on parties. This is more of a calm vibe. Only thing I didn’t like was we passed a lot on the water & there was no guide to explain anything

Saffron Cruise by Banyan Tree One of the highest quality river ride dinners on the Shopee River There was a small plot before boarding the boat this day, at the only gate that leads to Iconsiam harbor 4, blocked by the guard. The space was filled with crowds of people ready to board the Princess River, the guards who did not know the situation treated us as Princess's customers, and English communication was invalid. (They really stopped the customers of Princess Shopie River as refugees, and it was bad.) Lastly, I waited until 18:45 before the deadline for boarding, and I was working hard to communicate with Iconsiam staff (both chest trainee) and the English customer service at KKday. They don't work, the trainee just says: “Not a boat has opened yet, nor your Saffron Cruise.” In the end I decided to force the cluster, pull to the very front after, directly spray out, completely regardless of the useless guard tell a bunch of princess number has not opened can not pass the nonsense. When we arrived at Harbour 4, our boat was going to open, and we were the last group of customers who boarded the boat. Overcoming the hell-like experience before, I want to give you a advice for friends who are interested in this trip, it is best to leave the iconsiam building before 18:15 and wait at dock 4. Otherwise you will be trapped inside as the Princess of the Shopee River. All experience, after boarding the boat with the transformation of hell to heaven. Under the leadership of a servant in ancient Thai costumes, we entered the position at the window of the cabin. The welcome butterfly tea is already on the table, then wipe the towel and deliver it. Low brightness and slow music all calmed my anxious heart. Subsequently, each dish was a Thai-style dish, seemingly similar but more delicious than usual. During the meal, as long as we try to take a selfie with the camera, there will be a service person immediately smiling to ask: “Do I need to help you take pictures?” Then he will also lift a LED light to help us light up, which is too internal. This rosacea has two floors, in addition to the bedroom for meals, there is a stylish deck that can go up. There is a spacious viewing stand above, and a bar can serve guests for drinks (extra charge). This boat ride coincides with the Apec period, and there are light water dance shows in six areas along the route, which adds a lot to the boat experience. When the service staff noticed that we were on the deck, they immediately followed, introduced the deck environment, and proposed a picture that can help us to match, again feeling the careful service of the Banyan Tree system. After a meal dessert, additional item checkout, we can also accurately find all over the place, guide us to enjoy dessert, checkout. I highly recommend everyone to enjoy the deck view upstairs during the dessert time, admire the thousands of lighthouses on the shore of the Shopie River, so that the two-hour meal experience leaves the deepest memories. The Sharpee River brings Bangkok a vibrant and transportation hub, and boat sightseeing is an experience to visit Bangkok.
