No off road experience through desert. It's by minibus on motorway all the way. No tea in a bedouin village - layby at side of motorway with many other minibuses. Not proper Blue Hole (I know as have been several times before). Very poor meal of gristle/bone with rice and salad in a "cafe" with next to no hygiene. Herded like cattle to sit on rugs that needed a good clean. Flies everywhere. Tea/coffee NOT included - had to buy every time. Professional photographer on the trip with constant hassle to have/buy photographs and when told "no" to give a tip. Why? Taken to perfume shop with the owner expecting us to listen to how it's made. When told we had no interest, he was clearly making offensive remarks to his friends and colleagues and we were "told" to go in the silver shop next door. Not free to shop where you like. On the way back, we were taken to a stop for the coloured canyon. We are 59 and 65 years old. We had not paid for nor wanted this as it involves climbing down rocks. So we had to sit and wait an hour while others did it. The advertised 8 hr trip was actually 11 hrs - ridiculous. We have made formal complaint/requested refund. Been to Egypt over 30 times and this was worst excursion ever.
