This authentic cultural experience offers visitors a unique opportunity to discover the rich heritage of the Inca civilization and the living traditions of the Peruvian Andes.
The Maras Salt Mines are one of the most iconic attractions in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Located on the upper slopes of the Sacred Valley near Cusco, this remarkable site features more than 3,000 handcrafted salt pools fed by a natural underground spring with mineral-rich saltwater. As the water slowly evaporates under the Andean sun, it produces the famous Maras salt, a traditional product that has been harvested since pre-Inca times. These ancient salt terraces are still managed by local families through a hereditary community system, preserving centuries-old traditions and sustainable salt production. Visiting the Maras Salt Mines offers a unique cultural experience and breathtaking views, making it an essential highlight of any Sacred Valley Tour from Cusco.

Urubamba, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is renowned for its fertile lands and breathtaking Andean scenery. During the Inca Empire, this valley was one of the region's most important agricultural centers, famous for producing corn and a wide variety of crops. Today, it remains a vibrant farming area known for its fruit orchards and rich agricultural heritage. Here, you'll enjoy a delicious traditional buffet lunch featuring authentic Peruvian cuisine before continuing your Sacred Valley Tour from Cusco.
Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site is one of the most impressive Inca landmarks in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Built during the reign of Emperor Pachacuti, this magnificent fortress served as a strategic military, religious, and agricultural center, protecting one of the most important routes to Machu Picchu. During your guided tour, you'll explore its remarkable stone terraces, ceremonial temples, and ancient structures, including the iconic Temple of the Sun, the Royal Baths of the Ñustas (Inca princesses), and the impressive agricultural terraces that climb the mountainside. Surrounded by spectacular Andean landscapes, Ollantaytambo is a must-see highlight of any Sacred Valley Tour from Cusco and an unforgettable glimpse into the engineering and legacy of the Inca civilization.
Pisac Archaeological Site is one of the most remarkable attractions in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Perched on the slopes of Intihuatana Mountain, whose name means "the place where the sun is tied," this impressive Inca site showcases one of the finest examples of Inca engineering and agricultural terrace systems. During your guided tour, you'll explore beautifully crafted stone structures, ceremonial temples, military fortifications, watchtowers, and an ancient astronomical observatory. The tour covers quite a lot of the more important archaeological sites of The Sacred Valley and gives more of a brief overview. The scenery is wonderful and plenty of time is allowed at each site. One of our highlights was the Maras Salt Mines. A good buffet lunch at Urubamba was included. We really enjoyed this tour, which took about 12 hours and the guide and driver were excellent, very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
We did all the tours with Mr. Wilson, everything was super good! The good thing is that if there is any doubt Mr Wilson will always be attentive and will answer them. If I would recommend it 100%, it is worth it in price/quality!
