I did not know what to expect, my wife wanted to come here but I thought it was Just amazing! I will be telling my friends that this is a must see!
Very enjoyable place to visit, lots of interesting history. Many famous acts have appeared at the Ryman over years, lots of stories and memorabilia.
A Country music history buffs must see. The story starts here. Beautiful building. I strongly consider signing up for guided tour. Lots of memorabilia. Great souvenir store
Simply wow. From the short introduction video to wandering around through musical history. Not just Country. Just about every genre is represented here. A ‘must do’ when in Nashville.
Whether or not you're a country music fan, the Ryman undoubtedly holds a special place in the annals of American music. The self-guided tour starts with a nice video about the history of the building, and then you get to explore the auditorium itself. There are several displays around the perimeter, and it's nice to simply sit down in one of the pews to take in the history. Definitely a must-see for music-lovers in Nashville.
Fun place visit and see the past history of the grant old opry, and to see how far it all has come. And to see what it happening at ryman know.
Amazing venue! Loved the history, loved the video to start the tour. Told the story and then walking around let you absorb the whole place.
Beautiful auditorium and so much history!! Very well presented with a mix of excellent storytelling and so many artifacts on display around the building.
What an amazing place….the Mother Church…Ryman Auditorium…enhance The Opry at the Ryman celebrating 100 years of the Grand Ole Opry…and it’s during the 60 Annual Country Music Association (CMA) here in Music City (Nashville, TN). The Ryman by itself is incredible for a self guided tour. Too much to mention. But if you ever get to see a concert, magic show, comedy, etc. a perfect venue. Great acoustic for music, small and quaint for a show and close to Nashville Partying Street (Broadway)…which is one city block away… full of the Honky Tonk music and great food/drinks!!!
A very surreal experience in a beautiful building, worth the visit and wish I’d been able to catch a show.
