07:30 - Pick-up from your hotel and departure towards the Champagne region. Enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive (140 km) through picturesque vineyards. A short rest stop will be made along the way.
10:00 - 12:00 - Arrive at Maison Ruinart, the oldest Champagne house (est. 1729). Explore its UNESCO-listed chalk cellars during a guided tour led by Ruinart’s expert staff. Visite des Crayères: A 1.5 to 2-hour tour with a guided cellar visit and tasting of 2 Champagnes.
12:00 - 13:30 - Free time for lunch in Reims. Choose to explore on your own or let us reserve a gourmet restaurant for you.

We actually ended up going to Taittinger because tickets were sold out for the Ruinart tour. It was a great tour. Lots of stairs so if you have mobility issues this could be a problem. Alessandro, the Taittinger tour guide was great. So much information and very engaging. Two glasses of champagne at the end. Our driver Alex was awesome. I will definitely ask for him if we do another tour with a private driver in the future. Galaxy-Tour the operator also made a lunch reservation for us at Pommery. Wonderful covered outdoor patio. And yes, more champagne. I highly recommend this tour. I will definitely book with them again on my next trip because I really want to go to Ruinart.
