Chritinia was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Very knowledgeable of the history of Spain !! Would highly recommend taking a tour with her or requesting her !!
Loved our tour guide Benny. He was informative, interesting and fun. The tapas experience was a bust. The place we were sent to had no idea of what we were there for. We were charged for our tapas and the staff were rude. I would opt for tour only.
It was a walking tour but quite informative. The tapas was good and at one of the restaurants on our list to visit.
The Royal Palace tour was informative and interesting. Rocio was a good guide. She seemed passionate about sharing the history and culture of Madrid and Spain. There was no mention of the tapas portion of the tour. We were tired and opted for a siesta instead of guiding ourselves to the restaurant.
Dear Kelly, Thank you very much for your review. We are very happy to read that you enjoyed your visit. We will pass on your message to Lydia. We hope to see you soon!
Excellent Experience...can recommend Marta from Naturande who worked with late travellers, security tours as well as lunch stop closed on Friday She is a great guide
Interesting visit well put across by the guide. Not 5 stars because a lot of waiting around for radios etc. Tapas adequate
Our tour guide was called Benny. the tour of the palace was a very beautiful experience. the tour guide was very detailed about all the rooms. it wasn't just a simple guided tour, he asked you various questions about the guided tour. he wanted you to leave there and know its history with names and years.
Thank you very much for your comment! We will translate your message to Beni. We hope to see you soon! Kind Regards
The instructions for meeting leader were unclear and we couldn't find them despite being at the meeting place early. After spending an hour on phone trying to resolve, we were placed on a later tour. It was really a large group and it took 45 minutes to get everyone into the palace and set up with headsets. The leader did her best but it was hard to hear even with headsets. We missed the tapas we had paid for because of the change. Really disappointed.
Dear, when you book you can see the meeting point on the reservation, we still provide you with our phone number to call us and help you locate the guide at all times, however, in order not to miss the tour we rescheduled you to the next available time. The Royal Palace is a very popular monument and that is why so many people visit it. The tapas do not have a closed schedule to go, you could have gone before or after the tour so you should not have missed it because of the schedule change as you can go at any time to the tapas. Thank you Regards
As with most historic building tours the guide is often the factor that makes or breaks it. We were very lucky to get Benito as a guide. His english was very good and he made the whole experience very enjoyable with his knowledge of the palace and it's history and the humour that he introduced into his narrative!
The guide was well informed, kind, punctual and always ready to answer questions. The place was crowded, she tried to cater the visit so we would be in rooms where the other tour guides and their groups weren't but it was not always possible. The audio devices were garbage, I roamed around as closely to the guide so I could hear her instead of relying on the audio device (extremely uncomfortable and did not provide clear audio). She spoke English but the devices weren't a good medium of communication. I wish she had just spoken to us directly if possible. Or perhaps use WIRED audio devices like other groups. I didn’t think it was worth the amount of money spent for the ‘guided’ tour, better off with the alternative guide of iPad devices that showed each of the rooms and explained the items
