Welcome to Shodo Cafe 7557 in Roppongi, Tokyo! We'd like to everyone enjoy Japanese calligraphy with matcha latte. This is an important and traditional cultural experience in Japan. It is kind of meditation and hope you it relaxes you. Let's make art with us! ●The detail of Japanese Calligraphy: 60min/ - Practicing basic strokes - Writing your favorite kanji character - The instruction video (history, tools, mindset, etc...) - Souvenir (write your favorite kanji on a paper fan or hanging scroll) - One free drink (matcha latte, green tea, coke, beer, etc...) - Souvenir Your name stamp in hiragana, kanji keychain, kanji coaster, Kanji Tote Bags, kanji pouch.

We had an amazing time while doing caligraphie with the absolut sweetest guide! We got to try different words and signs on some really pretty papers! At the end we got custom stamps with our names + you could pick a colour.

Fantastic experience, absolutely recommended! The girl was very kind and considerate towards us, we learned to use the various brushes and drew kanji, creating beautiful souvenirs (including a parchment, a fan and a tote bag). I also recommend buying the custom stamps, they are wonderful!
