Paid for a full day with a tour van and received 1/2 half day tour van. We didn't see Waianapanapa State Park w/Black Sand Beach, Koki Beach Red Beach, Hana's Farm as identified. Found out tour vans do not stop at Scared Seven Pools or the bamboo forest which was disappointing. I will drive next time.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re truly sorry the tour didn’t fully meet your expectations, and we understand how disappointing that can be when you’re looking forward to a full Road to Hana experience. Your feedback comes from a time when tour details and access limitations weren’t communicated as clearly as they should have been. Under our current local management, we’ve made important changes — our itineraries are now clearly updated, guests are informed in advance about which stops are included, and we explain which locations tour vans can and cannot access due to road conditions, park rules, and safety considerations. We appreciate you helping future travelers by sharing your experience, and we wish you a wonderful visit on your next journey along the Road to Hana.
Our trip on the road to Hana was fantastic! Tristan was a knowledgeable guide and an all around great guy. We swam in a waterfall, got delicious banana bread, saw huge turtles relaxing on the beach, swam at a black sand beach, and saw parts of Maui we would not have otherwise been to!! A perfect day. A big thank you to Tristan and Aloha Pixabus.

He is very kind and genuine, and he took the time to let us enjoy the full experience. It is refreshing to see the life of the locals, which was very different from the tourist side of Maui.

This was such an amazing tour. The rain forests, Black rocks that look like sculptures, water falls and the beach with about 50 turtles were my favorites. Our tour guide Tristan Gonzales was so unbelievably enthusiastic. He has lived in Hawaii all of his life and is very knowledgeable. .He was also extremely polite. He loves natures beauty and it really shows. When we went to the water fall he climbed near it for us to get amazing photos. He is an excellent driver I highly recommend him.

Eli, our guide, was incredible! We had such an awesome time as we journeyed the road to Hana. He took us to all the great spots and the absolute best part was swimming by a waterfall! Seeing the turtles in the beach was the second best! An absolute must if you've never been to Maui! We got to see such a different aspect of Maui and it was so beautiful! The Mercedes Van is brand new and beautiful. Small group so you didn't feel like a number. The chicken restaurant where we stopped (cash only) was delicious! Buy a fresh coconut for $10 also! Long day but we'll worth it! Highly, highly recommend!
