Our first stop were the Selaron Steps. There were at least one hundred people at/on the steps so it was very difficult if not impossible to photograph the iconic steps to appreciate the workmanship it took to create them. Our next stop was to see Christ the Redeemer. There were 9 people in the tour group and I believe the reason for the small size was because only a small van could maneuver the very winding 2 lane road up to Christ the Redeemer. Once there, we stood in line for more than an hour to get to the base of the 222 steps that took one up to the monument OR wait for the elevator. We opted for the elevator which probably took another 15-20 minutes waiting in another line to get on the elevator. After getting off the elevator, there was an escalator which ended at the base of the monument. One had to be mindful of the hundreds of people at the monument, some sitting on the pavement, some lying down on the pavement to capture a picture of Christ the Redeemer. It was a fantastic monument to view and a beautiful overlook of the city. Luckily it was a clear, cloudless day ! Our final stop was Sugarloaf Mountain which is comprised of two mountains, Morro da Urca and Sugarloaf. We took a 65 passenger cable car to get to Morro da Urca where we had a view of Christ the Redeemer in the distance, and a beautiful vista of the city. There are several food establishments @ Morro da Urca where our guide suggested we take a break as there was a long line to catch the 2nd cable car to Sugarloaf. When we reached Sugarloaf, there were spectacular views, one of which was Copacabana Beach.
Our tour guide, Raphael, was absolutely amazing!! He is very professional, personable, and patient! Our group really enjoyed our tour even more because of him!!

The short excursion was an excellent way to see a lot of Rio in a short amount of time. Everything went smoothly and we saw so much. We highly recommend this tour.
It was a great combination to see the top attractions in Rio and you certainly got your money's worth in 6 hours of touring. Melania was great! The views from up above we're stunning. We went up Sugarloaf early so it wasn't crowded, but Christ the Redeemer was heaving with people.
Very nice tour and guide was great!! A bit more signage at port to find our transport would have helped the chaos right off the ship!
A tour that, in 6 hours, covers the most important tourist attractions in Rio de Janeiro, which is advantageous for cruise passengers, especially since the pick-up from the port is ensured. The best price for what it offers. I recommend it to cruise ship passengers and not only.
Dear Customer. Thanks a lot for the review. We are glad that you liked the tour. Please count on us on future trips. Thanks. Att, Giovanna Maldonado.
The tour was lovely, but they completely removed one of the three stops due to "heavy traffic". We should receive a partial refund at the very least.
Dear Customer. at Carnival Schedulle , City hall closes a lot of streets and that leads to operational issues , that is why we could not get to selaron. PLease contact us at reservations@grayline.com.br so we can align partial refund. Thanks a lot for the review. We are glad that you liked the tour. Please count on us on future trips. Thanks.
The various venues we visited were very crowded, except for Sugar Loaf, our first and earliest stop. The guide was very good, and spoke understandable English. The van was crowded, with 15 passengers. In the back seat we were unable to see the sites as the guide described them.
