What do you do in Rio in the months leading up to the official carnival parades? To prepare for the showy carnival parades in February, samba schools need a long preparation that starts in June. Get the feeling of Carnival by taking a guided tour of an exciting rehearsal experiencing the passion that unites all Brazilians. Immerse yourself in one of the most interactive Brazilian cultural expressions with dancing, singing and cheering alongside fans at one of the samba schools warehouses the night away. Before rehearsal, assimilate into the samba and carnaval culture by joining workshops taking the first steps in the samba dance from professional dancers, and even learn a little how to play the main carnaval instruments from talented musicians. After the workshops, enjoy the official rehearsal on the court putting into practice what you learned with dancers, drummers and flag bearers. In addition, learn about the history of samba and the school's community, and its main projects.

SOUTH RIO and downtown PICK-UPS • Pick-ups between 20:00 and 21:00, but we will get in touch with every tourist the date before the tour to arrange a more accurate pick-up time. The creation of the floats, costumes , themes and music takes 11months to prepare. We saw a compilation of previous carnivals which brilliant. Tried on some of the costumes. And saw some of this ywars costumes. Fabulous

I loved the experience. They picked us up in a very comfortable van and left us at the door of the place, we did not line up to enter because everything was very well coordinated. Our guide Liliane had a lot of interesting information about the activity in addition to other tips she gave us about Rio de Janeiro. I recommend that you do this activity which is like immersing yourself in the culture of carioca, full joy and good vibes, an incredible party. Great time

Definetly worth every penny to see the amazing dancers, the drum line and energy of the cariocas living the music !!! Even if you cant dance the energy is intoxicating !!! The guide picks you up on time and you are safe the entire time . Lilian the tour guide was muito bella .

Excellent experience go to rehearsal carnival. We felt totally safe, and we were treated very well by everyone, from the driver, the guide, and even inside the square.
