Fantastic tour with Paola! She’s engaging, knowledgeable, friendly and made the museum so much more meaningful. She discussed how Dutch art changed over the centuries and how artists adapted their styles, techniques, and influences. Her perspective added depth and made the whole experience unforgettable. One of the best experiences of our trip!
Clare Knox was an outstanding guide. She clearly has a deep background in art and history, at least that is what we all perceived from the incredible tour that we had of the Rijksmuseum. Despite its size, she was able to pack in a lot of information in an easy to understand way that flowed really well. It gave our group a deep sense of appreciation of the artists and the curators who study and display what is in the museum. We were a group of three and she took extra time and care with us to ensure we had an amazing time. She is very passionate about what she does and it really shows.
Amazing tour. The guide Pauliina was so informative, supportive and gave us a unique perspective of the Dutch masters. She was experienced, very knowledgeable as an art history major and was able to translate her experiences to a group of diverse folks on the museum the collection and how it all related. I would really endorse this tour to others.
Paola was an excellent guide her knowledge of art history was essential to the tour. The tour was amazing and the information she provided was top notch.
Wonderful guided tour w Jocabo! So informative and educational. Highly recommended!
Tour guide Ewald was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable about the art, economics, history, and the artist's life. Ewald was very well spoken, made the tour very interesting, and all round a nice person. My sister and I felt fortunate to have him show us the best if the Rijks museum.
The museum is a must see in Amsterdam and the tour guide was one of the best i’ve had in Europe! He was very knowledgeable and great at communicating the fine art details I wouldn’t have otherwise known about.
Totally worth it! We booked semi-private tour. Ewald was so nice and knowledgeable and accommodating. He was great! Thank you!
Guide was excellent! Enjoyed the museum tremendously. The museum gardens were beautiful as well. Lots of people, but well organized. We enjoyed lunch at the cafe.
Our tour guide Anna was obsessed with sex. She made continual graphic references to her interpretations of art, made weird gestures of masturbation multiple times, simulated oral sex and I had my kids on the tour. It was over the top and uncomfortable. Disappointing.
