A real experience with Vietnamese farmer in doing the rice planting and fishing by basket. You have a chance to get a close-up look at life of local farmer while practicing traditional rice farming and fishing with unique “nom” or basket. Enjoy the waterfall bathing at Buffalo Cave is also great.

We booked this as a last minute tour the night before. The farm owners were friendly but there didnt seem to be any plan to our visit. We were told feed the ducks and have a walk round. A change of clothes was then thrust upon is with little explanation. Turns out it was to stop our clothes getting dirty during activities on the farm but we had to ask. The cave itself is disappointing. It is just a small nook in the corner of the farm and no ‘waterfall’ just a dribble of water occasionally from above. The basket fishing and rice planting was fun and the cooking class gave us a delicious lunch. Overall for the price of the tour we were disappointed. Better to turn up and pay less without feeling pressure to stick around when it becomes boring.
Very welcoming family but place became really tourist losing its authenticity. The place caters mainly to young children, they can fish, plant rice, walk on the farm’s only Buffalo and feed the ducks. Outside the rice harvest season, there is a small area dedicated to planting with rice shoots. We also participated in the cooking class, we found the average activity as a whole. The explanations are very brief, the food is already cut.
