Ras Mohammed & White Island: Snorkel, Optional Dive & Lunch

Collection in the morning was on time but bus had no Aircon so was exceptionally warm. At least it wasn’t midday! Then there was an horrendous 2 hour wait for our boat. Asked for the fins which were included and kept getting told they were extra cost!! Only when I showed my receipt with them included did they give them and then they only had limited sizes with many broken. The focus on the trip was on selling diving, videos and anything else that would make them money. The snorkelling was not pleasant as spent 2 hours on a tiny overcrowded pinnacle with at times 25 boats moored onto it. Limited communication from guides as they were too busy trying to sell diving etc. The next stop was a bit better but we were only given 15 minutes in the water for snorkelling. Then 15 minutes to White Island which had to be the most underwhelming experience! A tiny island that must have had 500 people or more crammed onto it. Really not what was advertised and really felt disappointed with whole day. Then when we arrived back at the harbour we had another painful and hot wait for our minibus and in the end they had to get another bus for us. Would not do again! Would have been better if customers had been given honest timescales rather than having to guess how long we would be in any place.

The expectations were quite high, but they were not met. After snorkeling at Ras Mohammed, we were stuck on the boat for a full 3 hours without food because the guides were busy swimming instead of proceeding to the next destination or feeding all of us travelers on board under the scorching sun from 11:30 AM to after 2:00 PM. The last stop at White Island was not worth it because, due to their fault, we did not have enough time to enjoy it. Everything was done in a rush within 15 minutes. Hardly enough time to enjoy it and take a couple of decent photos before we immediately have to get back on board to return to the port. NOT AN OPTIMAL EXPERIENCE.

Started bad from the pick-up, all other companies came inside the hotel to pick-up guests except this company, we waited half an hour at the reception and we had to rush the hotel staff to bring us a golf car to arrive to the main door outside. Bring your food if you choose it. Prepare yourself to pay 30€ more per person to dive more than three minutes ( just to let people know, I booked the premium ticket -most expensive - diving included and they will tell that this dive is only on the surface - I’m not speaking about snorkelling - so it’s 30€ to dive more metters to see fish etc). The young guy on the boat, who put you the life jackets etc is very sweet and professional ( we called the Uber) because he kept helping my mother to swim, he was very nice ! You have maximum 10 min on the island … nothing Waw.

We had a fantastic snorkelling trip with Aquarius Red Sea! Everything was very well organised, the staff were friendly and professional, and the whole experience felt safe and enjoyable. The snorkelling spots were beautiful with plenty of colourful fish and clear water. The equipment was in good condition, and the crew made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the trip. Everything was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommended, and we would definitely book with them again!

amazing experience. the tour was surreal and the diving staff at alfredo boat were amazing, funny, and super friendly. 10/10 would recommend, and come back!

Excellent experience, swimming and a free scuba experience,.food and refreshments on board

The crew needs to be more polite and respectful toward tourists. This behavior is completely unacceptable and does not reflect the level of service that should be provided. Also the food was terrible and salty.

This experience felt like a complete rip-off. We paid extra in advance for the scuba diving activity, but when we arrived on the boat for the Sharm El Sheikh Ras Mohammed excursion, we were told we had to pay an additional **€50 per person** if we wanted to dive deeper. Then, after the dive, they demanded another **€70 per person** for the photos and videos. There was absolutely no flexibility or willingness to discuss the charges. They could clearly see I was there with my kids and that capturing those memories was important to us. It felt like they took advantage of that and pressured us into paying. I've rarely felt so exploited as a customer. To make matters worse, the person in charge told me they would investigate the situation and get back to me. They never followed up. The lack of transparency, unexpected extra charges, and poor customer service completely ruined what should have been a memorable experience. I would not recommend this excursion.

A very well-organized experience to do, we recommend it, the boat was very clean and well-maintained, the staff were all super friendly, attentive, and professional, the food was good, and drinks were always available. On the boat, there were guests of different nationalities and there were dedicated guides for each group; there were 4 of us Italians and we had our own guide. None of us went diving, but they had us go snorkeling with cheerfulness and patience, even for those who had some fear, they put them at ease; in any case, they provide the equipment even just for snorkeling. What can I say, the place is worth it, obviously popular for the period, but Egypte Travel is highly recommended, excellent value for money.
