One of the things I loved most about rafting on the Telaga Waja River was how it naturally brought our group together. There were moments when everyone had to paddle at the same rhythm to get through the stronger rapids, and whenever we did it right, it felt incredibly rewarding. Between the adrenaline, the laughter, and the beautiful scenery, this became one of those experiences we'll always remember whenever we talk about our trip to Bali.
Rafting on the Telaga Waja River was the perfect combination of stunning scenery and exciting rapids. Surrounded by lush greenery, we enjoyed peaceful stretches of the river before being greeted by thrilling currents that kept everyone alert and laughing. The changing pace made the whole journey feel exciting from beginning to end, and it was an adventure that was just as memorable for the beautiful views as it was for the adrenaline.
The rapids at Telaga Waja were exciting enough to keep our adrenaline high, but the river is also incredibly beautiful. Between the challenging currents, we floated past green landscapes and peaceful views that made us stop and appreciate the surroundings. It felt like the perfect balance of adventure and nature in one experience.
Rating: 1/5 - Avoid at all costs! Absolute rip-off and terrible experience. I highly DO NOT recommend "BMW Rafting" in Bali. It was an incredibly frustrating, overpriced, and poorly managed experience from start to finish. Disgusting Restrooms: The toilets were absolute filth and completely unhygienic. It was total chaos; people were wandering around trying to find a single clean stall, resulting in men entering the women’s restrooms and vice versa just to find a usable toilet. Scam and Price Manipulation: To make matters worse, the guy at the counter used cheap sales tactics to scam us, claiming: "I’m giving you a massive discount, dropping the price from 5 million to 2.7 million IDR (for two people) and giving you the special couples' rate instead of the group rate." It was all a big lie just to justify their ridiculous prices. Ridiculously Overpriced: They charge 1,350,000 IDR per person! The average price for rafting in other places in Bali is around 600,000 IDR. This place charges nearly triple the price for a much worse service. Terrible Staff & Customer Service: The guy at the ticket counter was extremely rude. He even charged me an extra fee just because I wanted to pay with a credit card. On top of that, we were kept waiting for over 40 minutes. Greedy Culture: Even though we paid a premium price for the tickets, the guide from the company on the boat still had the audacity to demand a tip. Dangerous & Unsafe Terrain: Just 5 minutes into the boat ride, they make you get out and walk through an incredibly slippery, rocky, and completely unpaved path surrounded by bushes. It’s highly hazardous, people were slipping and falling, and walking through it was extremely difficult. Horrible Open Buffet: At the end of the trip, they offer an open buffet, which was absolutely disgusting. The food was incredibly stale, smelled awful, and was completely inedible. The only options available were some terrible noodles, chicken, and two types of rice—all tasted horrible. Save your money, your time, and your safety. Avoid this place entirely.

Our experience with BMW Rafting was fantastic from beginning to end. The rafting course was exciting, the views were breathtaking, and the staff were professional and attentive. The fewer stairs made the trip much more comfortable, and the flying fox was a fun bonus. I can't wait to come back!
