Rafting Pacuare River One Day from Turrialba

Excellent !!!!! This is the sixth time I have taken my work team to this activity. Excellent service and treatment from the owners and the guides are excellent The food was great, the owner Manfred prepared a delicious Caribbean chop for us, the transportation was great, the driver was super flexible and friendly, the bus was brand new, the guides, as always, made us experience the journey in the best way, they told us stories of the place and anecdotes that made the tour super entertaining. 100% recommended.

For being my first rafting experience, it was more enjoyable than I expected. However, I believe that the support from our guide Jorge was deficient and should have been better than what we received. To detail why I consider it this way: 1. It was indicated that half of the people in the raft (3 out of 6) were having their first rafting experience, yet he did not lead those who had prior experience. 2. He faced the rapids in a way that I personally consider reckless, as we entered almost all the rapids from the right or left side, and not from the front (which actually caused all the members of the raft to fall in one rapid and the raft itself to flip because we reached a drop on the right side) or even backwards (which I also consider highly irresponsible since one cannot see if they are going to collide with a rock or if the raft is approaching a drop). It seems that the guide actively wants to make people fall from the raft, which goes without saying is dangerous. 3. I expected to give instructions on how to act once we had fully entered the rapid and not before to prepare the members, which also caused an abrupt change in instructions upon entering the rapid, for example, when we had entered the rapid he indicated "Forward!" only to immediately change it to "On the ground!". 4. He complained multiple times about poor timing, but never indicated at any point during the tour a rhythm that should be followed (which we did notice that the other guides were marking throughout the journey). 5. Near the end of the journey, one of the members of the raft began to express discomfort and unease, and the guide, instead of prioritizing the safety of the person and the enjoyment of the activity, decided to place them as the leader at the front of the raft despite the person clearly and explicitly stating that they did not want to and that this made them uncomfortable. He did this on his own, as when indicating that the person was not comfortable with this change, the guide ignored the remark and openly downplayed its importance. I personally believe that the guide should improve his way of leading the journey, as we noticed that no other raft (5 in total) showed the discomfort that we experienced, and this significantly affected our experience, even for those members who had several years of rafting experience.

It was an incredible experience; our guide, Ariel, went above and beyond and made our trip an amazing experience. Everything was very good; safety was prioritized at all times, the instructions were clear, the service was excellent, and the food was also very good; they had a vegetarian lunch option, which we appreciated. Without a doubt, we would return; we recommend the tour with Adrenalina Rafting, as being a local company makes the experience feel more like home and not just a business. We left wanting to return and take the two-day tour. It is necessary to wear clothing that protects from the sun, and to use sunscreen. In June, we found the water level to be acceptable, neither too dry in the river nor too full, which made our adventure extreme but completely safe.

They were too good; I highly recommend the experience. I recommend taking the tour with the guide named Ariel, as he provided exceptional quality, made us feel comfortable, and allowed us to enjoy more. We definitely want to return, and the included food was also super delicious.

An experience that is simply spectacular! From the very first moment, they made us feel welcomed and safe. The guide was incredible, one of those people who convey passion for what they do and make the adventure even more exciting. Their instructions, energy, and attitude made the rafting experience full of adrenaline and confidence. Additionally, the service was excellent in every detail. They provided us with shoes and booties at no extra cost, which is greatly appreciated, and the transfer between Siquirres and Turrialba was very comfortable and well-organized. The food was also delicious, prepared with great care and perfect for recharging energy after such an intense adventure. I also want to highlight something that made a difference for me: the love and respect they have for animals. It is very nice to visit a place where it is evident that they care for and value them, as it speaks volumes about the team's humanity. Without a doubt, it was an unforgettable experience, and I would return a thousand times. Totally recommended for those seeking adventure, exceptional service, delicious food, and people who truly love what they do!

The experience was amazing since the moment they replied to my request. Good comunication, punctuall pick up. The raftguides were amazing. The experience, nature food and all just the best.
