Rafting Adventure on the Kicking Horse River

Great fun for the whole family, even the reluctant ones! All the staff, especially the extremely skilled and internationally experienced rafting guides, made us all feel safe from start to finish. Shout out to our great rafting guide Jess! Coolest most professional company! All staff were kind, engaging, energetic, and extremely competent in everything they did. We did the full day trip. They served great coffee in their cool base when we first arrived. They provided succinct but thorough and entertaining trainings. They suited us up with wet suits and all the equipment we needed, including jackets and boots. They had a full crowd but they moved everyone through the process with amazing efficiency and good cheer. Learning all the rafting commands on the river was fun. Kicking Horse River was not as cold as we thought it would be. Wet suits kept us quite warm. Riverside lunch was great and timely. We felt energized going into the wilder rapids after lunch. After we got back to their base and turned in all the equipment, we were surprised that they served cold drinks while they showed videos of our rafting trip from the GoPro cams and drones. The whole experience was even better than we expected! Well worth the money! Unforgettable memories for our family!

It was very fun definitely worth it. W Chelsea she was awesome. She told me all about her journey and how experienced she was and they are all very experienced and know what they are doing.

Excellent experience. Carlos did a great job as our guide and made it fun. Golden experienced a catastrophic blackout the night before we got there and Glacier did its best to make sure we were taken care of to the best of their ability. Highly recommend

Absolutely fantastic experience. From start to finish it was brilliant. All of the staff were fantastic, helpful informative. Special shout out to Carlos our guide. He made sure we had so much fun, let us all jump out and swim in glacial water, we got splashed, had so much fun and learnt so much about the wildlife and the environment around Golden. The day was fantastic would highly recommend and if we ever go back I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.

Super smooth operation, with fantastic staff. Our Guide was Pete and he was fantastic......... for a Scotsman ;) Of course, the landscape and river is amazing, and the ride itself is amazing and totally safe for families. But it's the staff that really add the cherry on top, and Glacier were top notch. Will come again if I'm in the neightbourhood (just a few thousand miles in England).

This was so fun! So well organized and safe. Our guide Jacob was amazing. He made it extra special with his comments and fun remarks. The group was big but still it felt very personal.

We had a fantastic rafting trip with Glacier raft company. After an explanation with the old school buses to the kicking horse river. We had Carlos as a guide and went up the river with a family from Ontario. Super nice rafting with also time for information told by Carlos about the river and surroundings. In addition, a trip to a glacier waterfall where we hung under, nice but a bit cold😂 We were also allowed into the river, hanging from the boat. Fantastic! Lunch after rafting was well catered for where we also learned the secret recipe of the iced tea from Carlos. For everyone to recommend! Thanks Carlos!

I booked the activity for my partner and myself and it was amazing! We have never done rafting before, but that was not a problem at all. Everybody working there was very friendly, helpful and funny, especially our guide Nick. It was a blast having him as our guide in the boat (fitting 8 people). As we were camping through the National Parks we arrived with an RV, and it was no problem to park there. Furthermore they took pictures and videos of our experience, which were definitely worth buying.

We had a wonderful time. We were a group of 9 seniors and Nico and Jacob made it wonderful. It was pretty exciting without worrying about falling out. Great time and the BBQ lunch was great. Thanks Glaciar Tafting.
