Itinerary
We visit this important town so closely related to the Camino de Santiago (Portuguese Way) and to the history of the arrival of the Apostle Santiago in Galicia. Here we will visit the church of Santiago with the guide, where the "pedrón" is located, and we will have time to walk through the Alameda and have a coffee.
We visited this wonderful example of popular architecture. We will walk through its granite alleys between granaries and stone crosses. There is an option to try mussels from Combarro
Optional - Mussel Boat In the Marina of Combarro we take the boat in which we will cross the Pontevedra estuary; seeing the mussel farms, the towns of Combarro and Marín from the sea and the island of Tambo. On board we will have a tasting of mussels and local wine.
The island of A Toxa was the first holiday resort in Europe back in the late nineteenth century, also because of the soaps that were made on the island. On the island we will see the historic "Gran Hotel LaToja", the old soap factory and the curious "Capilla de las Conchas" (completely covered with scallop shells.
Once in Cambados we see the main square of the town with its impressive Pazo (Fefiñáns). In this town they will have free time to taste local products in one of the many restaurants.
We reach the island by crossing one of the longest bridges over the sea in Europe. Once there you can choose between taking a walk through the natural park with our guide, having a drink sitting by the sea or taking a dip in one of the fantastic beaches on the island!

There were too many stops on the tour with too little time in places. The mussel tour was excellent though the commentary should have also been in English. The last stop in particular was too short.
Our guide, Andrea, and Manolo, the driver were great and the itinerary was just right.
A fantastic bus tour and one of the highlights of the trip. Everything worked very well and the setup was both nice and well organized. The best part was the mussel boat, where we got to eat lots of good mussels and drink cold, good wine in a lovely environment. It certainly made the experience extra memorable. A very successful excursion that we can highly recommend.
I loved the tour, the landscapes are beautiful despite the rain in the morning. Even so, I enjoyed it a lot, ahh, and the mussels were delicious!!! I would repeat the tour 20 times just to eat those mussels.
Our tour guide, Daniel, was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, he did not accompany us on the boat portion of the tour. All of the information that was given on the boat tour was given in Spanish, so those of us who spoke no Spanish did not get any of the information that was given to the tour participants who did speak Spanish. That was the only disappointment of the tour.
Wonderful, well rounded day. Tour was in Spanish, but Pedro, the wonderful guide, did a great job including the 3 English speakers.

We have done with this agency the tour to the rias baixas and it has been a very good experience. The places you visit are very well chosen and have given us a lot of information. I recommend taking it with the mussel boat, we have had an amazing time!!
