Stefano our tour guide shared so much information and interesting facts about Pula and its history that we did not know before taking this tour. He is very knowleadgeable about Pula and its history. He patiently answered all of our questions which made this tour very engaging and interesting. Highly recommended this tour.
Interesting and informative tour of the old town, taking in all the historical highlights, culminating in the pièce de résistance, the amphitheatre.
The guide didnt show up, we were looking forward to the tour so a huge disappointment. No communication either.
Dear Carl, We’re very sorry for the disappointment this caused. The booking was cancelled on our side in advance, but unfortunately the platform did not pass that cancellation information on to you. This meant you were left waiting without knowing the tour was no longer scheduled, which we completely understand must have been frustrating. Please know that we always communicate cancellations promptly through the platform, and we rely on them to notify guests directly. We have already raised this issue with them to help prevent similar situations in the future. Guest communication and reliability are very important to us, and we hope to have the chance to welcome you on a tour under better circumstances.
90 minute perfect tour for family of five looking to learn about a Roman and medieval history of Pula
Thank you Amy!
Dalen was very informative and passionate about the city of Pula, where he lives. He shared personal favourites and stories. His English was great. And he was happy to answer questions. He walked us all around the old town, giving us a wonderful history lesson. At the end he gave us recommendations of other places to visit in Istria as well as some restaurants. I would definitely recommend this tour and guide.
What an experience, our tour guide spoke English very well. He was extremely knowledgeable and took time to stop and explain anything along the way. Would recommend for everyone as soon as you get to town. We even had time after to go inside the Amphitheatre after the tour, which he knew the hours too! Overall A+
Thanks Robert!
This tour was fun and a good way to walk around and see Pula while also learning about the history of this area. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and personable.
We try our best, thank you so much!
We were unlucky and had heavy rain during the activity, but we were very lucky to have Stefano as our guide. He was full of knowledge and has the ability to communicate with the wet audience. Except for the weather, which non of us could command, we were very satisfied.
Thank you Inger! At least it stopped once the tour was done so I hope you enjoyed the dry sunset :)
Stephano met us at Titos park promptly at six and proceeded to take us on a tour around the Roman architecture of Pula with some additional information around the history of the city and the Kastel etc Which was very interesting but a little too factual if I’m honest in order to maintain interest. Maybe a little more on current events and Croatia Or some humour It was very much an encyclopaedia of facts And at the end he stopped the tour and said goodbye! Quite abruptly which was disappointing There was no recommendation for eating places or places to visit on the coast etc
Hello, Thanks for joining the tour and for your honest feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the history, and I hear you on making it more engaging with local tips, some humor, and a warmer wrap-up — I’ll definitely work on that. Appreciate you helping me improve!
Stefano shared history that we were unaware of and thoroughly enjoyed learning about. We would highly recommend this walking tour.
Thank you so much!
