Prosecco Wine Tour with Sommelier – Pick-up from Treviso

Riccardo was a flexible and friendly guide for our Prosecco Hills tour. His choices of wine venues was excellent, giving quality wines to try and personal winemaker experiences at each stop. His knowledge of the area and wine was very helpful. We loved having a sommelier as our guide.

We had a fantastic wine tour, which can be highly recommended. The best part of the trip was first and foremost the beautiful surroundings. During the whole experience we were guided by Riccardo, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming and very skillful to tell about both the area and the wines. His passion and knowledge made the trip both exciting and educational. We visited two family-owned vineyards, where we were greeted with a fantastic hospitality and service. Here we tasted a large selection of different proseccoes, which were served along with delicious snacks such as cheeses, salami, beautifully crafted bread and other local specialities. It was also a great advantage that we were picked up exactly where we wanted. Along the way we made a couple of nice stops where we could enjoy the impressive vineyards and the breathtaking views of the landscape. All in all, it was a fantastic day that lived up to all our expectations – and more. The trip was all worth the money and we can warmly recommend it to anyone who wants an authentic and cozy experience with good wine, beautiful surroundings and an excellent guide.

Ricardo was an amazing tour guide! He was friendly, easygoing, and incredibly knowledgeable, making the entire day both fun and informative. Our first stop at Merotto Vineyard with Claudia was absolutely fantastic, and our second stop at La Casa Vecchia with Manuel was every bit as memorable. Both wineries offered wonderful experiences, with its own unique view. The entire tour was perfectly organized, relaxed, and enjoyable from start to finish. Ricardo went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time, learned something new, and left with wonderful memories (and, of course, some fantastic Valdobbiadene, aka Prosecco!) I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

We had a fantastic day visiting the DOCG Prosecco region of Valdobbiadene in the foothills of the Dolomites, Italy with our host, Ricardo. The two wineries visited provided excellent tastings, local food and details of their wines. Ricardo, who is a sommelier, was a wonderful host with a broad knowledge of wine industry and Italy generally. I would recommend using Ricardo again.

What an incredible day out! Riccardo is incredibly knowledgeable and has a fantastic relationship with the vineyards in the DOCG area. We were incredibly well looked after by the famous Italian hospitality; and could not have wished for any more. Highly recommend this outing - you will not regret it in the slightest if you book!

Very nice guide, Riccardo! Smooth driving and very helpful and committed, talking very good english. Two winerys where we learned a LOT about the process in making wine and tasted many different types of prosecco from Valdobbiadene. We can highly reccomend this tour!

I cannot imagine a better winery tour. Passionate and knowledgeable vineyard hosts, stunning locations, gorgeous wines and Riccardo was brilliant, great communication and a lovely welcoming manner. A must do if you are in the Veneto region. Pick up was 10am and we got back after 4pm - the time flew by, we had a fantastic time. Thank you Riccardo and all the best!

If you go to Italy you must not miss a visit to the DOCG Valdobbiadene area with Ricardo. I had the perfect day: fantastic Valdobbiadene, great food, fun and oh my what an excellent wine education I received from Ricardo! The scenery was enchanting and so was the company. Highly recommend this private DOCG prosecco experience. Riccardo was very friendly, knowledgeable & passionate. We visited two vineyards in Valdobbiadene and both were extremely interesting & great tasting proseccos. Riccardo was great at communicating before the day with regards to pick up/drop off & even gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our time in Treviso & Venice. All round great day!
