We will then see Villa Monastero, an evocative architectural complex of the sixteenth century, once a convent of Cistercian nuns. Today it is one of the main tourist attractions, with its house museum and botanical gardens that welcome many plant species. It is possible to visit the gardens, booking in advance on the Villa site
Heaven's Gate: Famous for its spectacular storey botanical gardens, it houses the iconic 'Heaven's Gate', a monumental gate that frames the lake in a divine way.
We will skirt the east coast admiring Villa Orlando, Villa La Placida and Villa Trivulzio, magnificent historic residences surrounded by greenery and the famous gardens of Villa Melzi that frame the entrance to Bellagio.
We will end the tour with a breathtaking view of the Bellagio promontory and its historic village, the "heart" of Lake Como.

I spent an unforgettable day on the wonderful Lake Como, a place that seems to have come out of a postcard. From the very first moment, I was struck by the beauty of the landscape: crystal-clear waters, spectacular mountains, and elegant small villages that make the atmosphere truly unique. The experience was relaxing yet rich in emotions. Strolling through the streets of Bellagio and admiring the historic villas overlooking the lake was something magical. The view at sunset, with golden reflections on the water, is simply breathtaking. The hospitality was also impeccable: kind people, excellent local cuisine, and a refined yet authentic atmosphere. Spectacular experience: both for the wooden boat and for the view throughout the tour... cleanliness, courtesy, and friendliness are what stands out... along with the droplets of lake water that accompanied us 😜 thanks to the captain 🧑✈️ we will do it again.

We left from Varenna for a 2-hour tour after reaching it by train from Milan. The boat arrived on time, very beautiful, all made of wood and classic. Matteo, the captain, was very kind and took us to wonderful places; we literally fell in love with the lake and its magic. They asked us if we wanted to swim, but unfortunately, we did not organize ourselves. We will definitely return. Highly recommended!!!
