Private War Veteran CuChi Tunnels 1/2 Day Tour

Description
Our tour offers a unique opportunity to witness the war history of Vietnam by exploring the underground Cu Chi Tunnels and having a conversation with the Vietnamese War Veteran at the tunnels. You will also have the chance to engage with him and ask any questions you may have. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to see the booby traps used during the war and explore the ex-US Army tank from the Vietnam War by touching it; to crawl inside the tunnels of Cu Chi and taste the locally grown Viet Cong food - tapioca. The highlight is crawling into the Tunnels to feel what it was like the VietCong soldiers in the war time. Important Note: The visit to either Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc will depend on the Veteran’s health and availability, and the location cannot be selected in advance. To ensure your convenience and the possibility of the tour, please contact us to check availability before making a booking.

The Cu Chi Tunnels, located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, were an extensive network of underground tunnels that served as a critical strategic location during the Vietnam War. Constructed over several years, the tunnels spanned more than 250 kilometers and were made up of multiple layers, including living quarters, kitchens, meeting rooms, hospitals, and even schools. The tunnels were dug by hand, using rudimentary tools such as shovels, hoes, and picks, and the workers would remove the soil from the tunnels and conceal it in nearby fields to avoid detection.
The tour will ends back to your Hotel/Airbnb in Ho Chi Minh City. Traveler who wish to be dropped off up the airport, please inform us anytime possible.

Thu was our tour guide at the Cu Chi Tunnels. She did an amazing job explaining the history of the war. She was also very patient when I was a bit hesitant to go into the tunnels. I manage to go through the shorter ones and enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend Thu. Thank you
Fantastic experience to the tunnels, our host Ken was very knowledgeable explaining everything in detail with excellent English. We were a family of 6 and all enjoyed our experience.
We had a great trip exploring the tunnels! Ken was a lovely welcoming guide who spoke great English. Other stops along the way before the tunnels make for a great round trip. Ken was very knowledgeable of the history of the tunnels and we learned so much! Thanks for a great day out :)
This tour was really interesting. Our tour guide Nam was very knowledgeable and shared stories with us to help us understand the experiences of the people who lived in the tunnels and the surrounding areas.
Opportunity to get another perspective of the war. Good history lesson. Tour included lunch but tour guide was not aware. Better communication required.
The tour was planned and carried out in a very friendly and competent manner - especially WhatsApp contact with Anh was excellent. We were picked up from our hotel in HCMC at 6:00 a.m. and were basically alone there. Tour guide SaFa did everything well, his English is good. So all in all very nice and super interesting tour, private transport very comfortable, I can just recommend it.
The entire experience was one I will never forget. Tom was so accommodating in various ways to our entire group. He made sure we understood the history of Vietnam and clearly answered all of our questions while making it a fun interactive experience. Tom was one of the best tour guides I have had and I will definitely be recommending him and this tour to anyone who comes this way.
This tour was so interesting! Tom, our tour guide was so informative and explained everything in such great detail. He kept the tour fun and engaging while making sure we were ensuring we received all the information! Highly recommended and well looked after throughout. Thanks so much Tom!
Typhoon Honey was an amazing informative tour guide. Perfect size group by comparison to some of the other groups at the tunnels, would thoroughly recommend.
Such a great experience exploring the tunnels with our guide, the one and only, Typhoon Honey, today. What a character! Really knows his history. We learnt so much.
