I am posting this review a bit late (we traveled in February/March), but I wanted to make sure I shared our positive experience with our private guide, Himanshu. Varanasi can be quite overwhelming, especially with the heavy crowds around the Holi festival, but Himanshu made our visit smooth and stress-free. Local Knowledge: He is highly knowledgeable about the history and culture of the city, providing great context to everything we saw. Ganges Boat Ride: He organized a wonderful boat ride along the Ganges, ensuring we had a great view and a smooth experience. Temple Darshan: Navigating the temples during the peak Holi rush was challenging, but Himanshu managed the crowds efficiently and helped us get a good darshan without any hassle. Saree Shopping: Finding authentic Banarasi sarees can be tricky, but he took us to reputable shops where we could shop comfortably. Himanshu is professional, patient, and focused on delivering a good experience. If you are planning a trip to Varanasi, he is a fantastic guide to have with you.
