This All-Private, comprehensive Van & Walk combinations show All Highlights in One Day and provide lots of ideas how to explore more of this beautiful city. Start at 09:00am at any accommodation (hotel/vacation home) train station or piers within city limits. The driving segment features – Ring boulevard/Hofburg Palace, Ferris Wheel, Danube, Hundertwasserhause, WWII Flak Towers, Belvedere City View, Schönbrunn Garden View, Secession and more. The Inner City Walking Tour explores the Old Town’s pedestrian areas and ends at St. Stephen’s Cathedral. The expert Austria Guide is with you all day. For the driving section we provide a chauffeur driven, air-conditioned sedan or van. Please consider our Options! The Base Version/Van&Walk) takes 7 hrs. (09:00-16:00) – a one-hour extension (8 hrs.) allows an interior visit at Upper Belvedere (Klimt’s Kiss). – A split into two half days is possible. All Drive versions are available for guests with limited mobility.

Staatsoper One of the world’s 4 leading opera houses, open for tours but best appreciated at a performance. The Sacher-hotel built with the profits brought with the famous “Sacher-Torte”, the world’s first chocolate cake.
The most monumental courtyard of the Hofburg Palace features the infamous balcony Hitler used for his “Anschluss-Speech”.
The Ferris Wheel operates for more than 120 years and is one of Vienna's five major landmarks.

Naschmarkt Vienna’s “belly” features a mix of market and eateries in historic (1915) market stalls.
Around the Rathausplatz the Ring culminates in buildings like the Parliament, Burgtheater and Rathaus. From End of June to Beginning of September it’s the location of the city’s food fair. In the evenings the huge open air theatre features music-movies. The nearby Café Landtmann was Freud’s favorite!
Now our Walking Segment starts! Surrounded by the city’s rose-collection the temple of Theseus celebrates the Greek liberation in the 1820ies.
The center of political power for more than 700 years now also features different museums, the Treasury and the Spanish Riding-school.
In the center of the Graben-boulevard this baroque monument dates back to the violent conflicts between Catholics and Lutherans.
For close to six hundred years this mountain of faith is holding the center of town and is dominating the cities skyline even in the 21st century.

Not to be missed. A full day to see the sights. If you want to go into sights/museums- that will need to be a separate day as there is so much to see…. Non stop. Fantastic!

Our tour with Brigitte has been fantastic! In 7 hours we have visited many monuments of Vienna and made the most of our stop in the city with the river cruise. Absolutely recommended, we would repeat without hesitation!!

Peter picked us up right on time, and had a wonderful tour planned. We had asked him if we could see several different places, and he made sure that happened. He explained the history of the buildings and parks; which was very interesting. We knew most of the history from our school days, but to actually see the city as we discussed the history was priceless. Vienna is a beautiful city; and I think we had the best tour.

Walter, our guide, was the best thing about this tour. Having a private care is a luxury but is pricey. However I would have paid the price for the excellent guide we had. He was knowledgeable and experienced and was able to showcase details of everything we saw.
Thank you Nauman! Yes, Austria is a high-wage country and we don’t do “driver guides”. Our “Van & Walk” tours are optimized by service/information not minimized to affordability. Staying at the “Imperial” – our 1# state reception hotel – you were aiming for that, we guess? By the way – OUR tour costs the same staring from a 2* hotel!
We only had one whole day to really experience everything in Vienna. Walter was amazing… He showed us everything plus listened to what he thought we would like to see in addition to the things we had originally planned.
