I prepaid and was sent an email that we would be picked up at the hotel at 9:14, the driver did not show up until 9:40 or so said that was the time i showed him the email and just laughed. When i called the number they provided the person had me on hold and could only tell me that a person would show up at sometime. Would not use again !

OK, Viator……. Positive: clean cars…….lots of emails back and forth……..excellent drivers…gave really nice tips! Negative: You made.a huge deal out of “we cant confirm your reservation until you give us details of the date of your return to airport, etc, etc, etc. Huge deal. Then, when we arrived at ther airport…your representative had me take a picture of a business card he had that had a phone number (local;) on it to confirm our return 24 hours before we wanted the return transportation, BUT…..THAT NUMBER WAS LOCAL ONLY!!!! I COULD NOT GET IT TO GO THROUGH…AND ONLY WHEN I HAD THE HOTEL FRONT DESK USE THEIR MOBILE PHONE DID YOU ANSWER. I HAVE 30 YEARS OF INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL…ONLY USING THAT SKILL AND LANGUAGE SKILL WAS I ABLE TO CONTACTYOU. Really unacceptable way to operate. Then, when I got to them (your team, right?) they were not god. They had me for SATURDAY???..not Friday. But all those emails were for FRIDAY!! Why did you bother with all that and add stress to everything we did if your local team has a completely different system? Goog thing I speak Spanish guys!!

Prompt and friendly service. Very good communication via email and WhatsApp. Our flight was delayed twice and we were able to contact them quickly and adjust our pick up to a later time. They actually contacted me once to inform me that my flight time had changed and gave us the option for a later pick up. Great service and friendly drivers.

I used Viator for transportation from the Ixtapa Airport to my resort and back. I had not been to this area of Mexico before and didn't know what to expect. My plane was late and the immigration line long. Two hours late I was pleasantly surprised my vehicle was there waiting for me. On the return trip the car was close to 30 minutes late. What I found out that my "private car" was actually a taxi. I paid $63.64 each way when I pre-booked. I could have just taken the same taxi for $25.00 each way. In this particular city in Mexico Viator gives you peace of mind if you've never been here before. Unfortunately you are paying more than double to ride in a taxi had you just stepped out and got in one versus having pre-booked. Again I sincerely appreciated the first driver waiting for me and I tipped him very generously for his time. The second driver, very nice, was the same taxi driver who drove me to dinner on Thursday and then was my private car driver (same vehicle) on Saturday.
