PRIVATE TRANSFER from SIRACUSA to PALERMO (or VICEVERSA)

We highly, highly recommend Martino. Excellent driver and engaging personality. We feel like we met a kindred soul in Sicily.

We booked this transfer as a way to stop at a few places along the way to our final destination. While the transfer did just that--transfer us, it was overall lackluster. Being in a taxi for 8+ hours to several destinations across the island, it would have been nice if our driver offered any kind of commentary on sites or recommendations (he did speak English). It seemed like he was merely driving and we were a chore. He took many personal loud calls and there was silence from him the rest of the time. While I understand this was a transfer and not a tour, any kind of conversation or pointing out of sites would have been appreciated during a period of 8+ hours.

During our stay in Sicily we contacted Siracusa Transfer by Nino Romano. He accompanied us on a personalized tour of Syracuse, Modica, Marzamemi and Noto and we had a wonderful time. Nino is a very professional, courteous and nice guy and in addition to taking us to the places mentioned above he gave us excellent information. Both the Valley of the Temples and Villa Romana della Casale were amazing . Our driver Martino was very engaging. He gave us lots of info, was on time and drove safely! The Mercedes van was very comfortable. The scenery on the trip was outstanding . This was a great way so see these stops on the way from Siracusa to Palermo!

We were 2.5 hours into a 3 hour transfer from Siracusa to Palermo. Our driver had a medical emergency and pulled over on the highway and was taken away by ambulance. The driver contacted the company in an effort not to strand us. I also contacted the company via the Viator App about what to do and never heard back. We drove their van to our destination on our own. The driver was great keeping in contact with us and seemed more worried about us than his own situation. But, the company never responded to us. We don’t speak the language and had only one phone with cell service. We were lucky we were able to drive the van and find our way. Company never checked on us and refused any kind of refund. They let down both their very loyal employee and us (their customers).

Martini did an excellent job! Safe, communicative and easy to ride along with. We’d definitely use him again.

The details of the transfer exactly matched the description. The driver was very attentive to our needs. We had to change the itinerary midway due to a health emergency and the driver was very helpful and accomodating.

Our driver was prompt in picking us up and taking us to Agrigento, Cefalu, & Palermo. He was flexible in working with our schedule at each location. The only slight problem was the van's electronic warning system was not functioning properly during the first two hours of the day.

The trip was absolutely wonderful, Agrigento is a must see, the ruins are spectacular and very well preserved. The stop in Piazza Armerina was fantastic, Villa Romana del Casale was breathtaking and unlike anything we’ve ever seen. My family and I really enjoyed it and Joseph, our driver was very accommodating! Highly recommend
