Great cost benefit

Punctual tour and the guide Leandro was very friendly and gave detailed explanations about the city and the monuments. Val Paraíso and Vina Del.Mar are very charming. Reserve to the fact that it consisted of Renava and Rocky Mountains and did not see and the only place to stop for lunch whose price was quite high, R$650,00 for 3 people. Now that, everything perfect!

Operator response

Horrible

Do not book this tour—it was a complete nightmare. I have booked private tours through Viator all over the world, and this driver and guide was by far the worst experience we have ever had. We booked a private tour for our family of six because my dad is a slow walker, and we wanted to ensure a good experience for him. Instead, our guide/driver, Jaime, was lazy, barely spoke, and rushed through everything. It felt like he was annoyed to be with us. He walked ten times faster than our group and grew irritated whenever we wanted to stop or ask a question. While the Valparaíso portion was okay, Viña del Mar was a disaster. He took us to a restaurant where lunch took two and a half hours, and then claimed we ran out of time for anything else. He just drove us around, completely denying us the chance to take photos or buy souvenirs. My dad even asked to see the festival concert grounds, and Jaime flat-out refused. To make matters worse, Jaime insisted on taking photos with his own phone instead of ours, promising to send them later. After multiple texts, he completely ignored us and never sent them. We love printing travel albums, and now we have zero photos of our family in Valparaíso and Viña del Mar. This was a total waste of time and money—it feels like both were stolen from us. It is a shame, as this is the first time we have ever had such an awful experience.

Highly recommended trip! Julio, the driver, provided a very safe and smooth ride, which was greatly appreciated on the road. On the other hand, Pablo Rayo was an exceptional guide: he explained everything clearly, showed great knowledge, and had a wonderful sense of humor that made the tour super interesting. We even left with a prize at the end!
